Have you ever caught a scalper grabbing up all of the figures? I haven't caught one but I swore this one guy who was near the Hot Wheels dump bin where I work had Organized the entire clutter and he was silent when I said hi to him and that was a good indicator that he might be a scalper.

I see them from time to time, most recently at Wal-mart, though. This fellow went to the clearance section and scooped all the Action Figures and Dolls into his cart and then started scanning each one with his phone, more than likely a barcode scanner app for checking Amazon, and the funny thing is that he ended up putting everything back on the shelf.
I've also been at TRU at opening a few times and laughed at grown men running through the exit door since it's closer to the action figures and Hot Wheels. They're just toys, I walk quickly, except that I always just do that anyway when I'm out because I hate shopping, but I will never and I mean NEVER run to buy toys. It's kind of mental.

Yes, at TRU. I grabbed a nerf gun and shot him right between the eyes.

That was nice of him to organize the bin. Certainly was. A scalper with OCD! They usually trash the place, don't they?

Yep, when the Star Wars Episode 3 toys came out, I was young at the time, I went with my dad to TRU soon as they opened to get some. While we were there my dad noticed they put out the new (at the time) McFarlane Chicago Cubs Mark Prior figure. Before my dad could get one this guy snatched up all of them. My dad asked the guy if he could have one and the guy hesitated for a minute or so, then finally gave my dad one.
I HATE people like that.

Right before ToyBiz was handing over the Marvel line to Hasbro, they released an X-men line with a short packed Rogue. Some guy beat me to it at the local ToyWorks. The next day it was up on ebay. He lived about 2 blocks from the store.

I seen a guy with a cart full of the Disney Cars when they first came out. I also seen a Chumlee going through the star wars figures tossing a few in his cart every now and then.

I've organized figures on the pegs before, putting them back on the right pegs and stuff like that - but I certainly have never scalped.
I don't really know anything about Hot Wheels collectors, but I have heard they are some of the worst.

The only time i can think of was going to a TRU(Close to closing time) and looking for RA series 24, they in fact had the whole set, i grabbed Khali(Who i was looking for) right after i did this guy stormed up to the figures and tore through them, when he finished looking he looked at what i had and stormed off. I looked through the figures again and low and behold i had the only Khali. There was another time but i can't really remember it that well.

When the csda chainsaw charlie first came out i went to tru when they first opened and bought the only one they had. As i was at the checkout i seen the scalper buying Austin and big john studd.
When basic 3 first came out i was looking for mickie james. I went to wal-mart everyday. One day i got there to late and the scalper bought the only one they had. The following weekend he said that it was not him that i saw it was his twin brother.
