ETW - A New Beginning '12

Really impressed how quick you are getting shows out.

MY REPLY HAS SPOILERS!




-Part 1- ZIGGLER V DEL RIO. Glad to see you distingushed an entrance way. Nothing fancy at all, but atleast it has some substance. I like the sliding panels where they walk through, reminds me of one of the wcw sets. There was some inconsistancy with it being open and closed at random times, no big deal though =p. I like the Del Rio vs Ziggler feud because its original, but there is still a chemistry like something missing. I kinda hope this one carrys on alittle longer. Pleased with Ziggler getting the win. I like the replay shots, but it would be nice if there was something else to distinguish them like something as simple as REPLAY in a corner.
-Part 2- Cruiserweight Championship CARA V HUNICO. This was one I was afraid the lack of string usage would kill the arial shots. You did pretty good job working with what you have and it was better than I thought. This feud for me does nothing and hope Hunico gets a new challanger. Alright Bryan promo, my pick for champ!
-Part 3- INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP BATTLE ROYAL. Pretty stacked match and could see anyone of them walking out champ. Not a whole lot to comment on, Im down with Cody winning.
-Part 4- Divas Championship NATALYA V KELLY. Ill give you credit for having a womens division, just doesnt seem like a filler to me really. Im ok with Kelly winning, been nice to see either Beth or Melina in and win (as heel)
-Part 5- ETW Championship CM PUNK V TRIPLE H. This one is one I was wanting to see! I think you are doing a good job with this feud. Hate you went WWE and let another match main event, but I see the stakes being higher. Solid match, kind of cheesy way to end it though. I like Trips a champion and it leaves the door open for this rivalry to continue.
-Part 6- SHEAMUS V TATSU. Not wild on this one following the championship match. I like that it involved Tatsu in something higher profile for the sake of something different, but the match really did nothing for me. Hope to see Tatsu go after the IC or Cruiserweight champ.
-Main Event- CENA V SHOW. Again, I would have rather seen Punk and Triple H close the show. Aside from Bischoff and Vickis involvement, Show and Cena on paper doesnt excite me. I was almost pulling for Cena to win to the handless Vicki would be gone, but what do you do. I hope a Cena firing or leaving for awhile comes out of this. Not much intrest in seeing this one go on.

Agian solid show and impressed on your turnaround time. Aside from not using string (we see that you havent picked that up yet) it was a very good show. Like I mentioned earlier, there may be other feds that get alot of praise for being more unique, but what benefits this board the most is some consistancy and you have been chugging along. I know this only makes your 4th actual Pic Fed style show, but it seems like youve been really invovled. Your what, 15? ENJOY THE FREE TIME WHILE YOU HAVE IT!!!! I would like to see you branching off the mainstream feuds (WWE'S SHOW V CENA) and start to build your own identity. I support doing them at first since we are all familiar with them. Keep it up man, and thanks for posting.

Well, ETW is kicking some butt and taking names... This was a very, very solid PPV with lots of matches and I did not find a single one that was anything but good. You managed to keep the pace and continuity despite a pretty busy card and the only real flaw I can find in your show right now is that annoying table edge, but that is a VERY MINOR issue (try a tablecloth, they do wonders). The posing and match execution was good and I liked the Main Event between Cena and Big Show quite a lot. I am enjoying the transition ETW is making from Tube format to Traditional Pic Fed, it shows that you are putting lots of effort into it, man.

I like how you had the different set up for the PPV. Made it feel a bit bigger. The card is set, let's get to the action. Great matches so far. One thing I'd like to really reallly see you do is use string. Experiment. I think you've evolved enough from story telling and honed in on everything to where you can start trying out string in your shots. I was a little confused as to why the world title match wasn't the main event or 2nd, the yoshi/sheamus match probably should have gone before it. Other than that, great showing! You've come quite a long ways in a short amount of time! Keep up the good work!
