Have you every bought a figure and then go to some store and find the figure there, I did this with E11 CM punk. Got it off RSC for 30$ and then say it about a month later in Walmart.

Happened to me back when Jakks was still making WWE figures. I ordered a RA Jillian Hall and like the day after I ordered it, I found her at WalMart. I was so pissed but I had to laugh. So I ended up having two Jillians.

That happened with CS1 for me back in '04, actually. I went to TRU and found CS1 HBK and CS1 HHH on the shelf, while my order was still be processed.

Every mass retail figure I've ever bought on-line I've seen at a later date locally. But when I buy a figure on-line it's because it's a figure that I can't wait to own...not because I think it'll be hard to find. Ever since Jakks normally the figure I buy was either a CS, whole Legends sets (Before it was canceled) or a HHH or Orton. But like I said I'd preorder it from RSC just because I didn't want to wait the 2 months for it to show up locally.

Only one in recent memory that happened to me with was the Bellas. I bought them and tried to cancel my order, but it turned out to be the exact same day that they came in stock. So, I just ended up returning one of them.

It sucks especially if you live in places that doesn't always get certain series. Once I ordered a basic 2-pack 10 Edge and Orton along with other stuff because I really wanted the figures and I was too scared that they will not get the series. So about few days later I found them at retail and I had to pay really expensive shipping for it(And the 2-pack was shelf warming too)!! But what ever, I still got the figures I wanted but just had to pay a little extra for them...

Not yet. I bought Legends 6 Eddie from Ebay but I've still never seen him at retail.
I was thinking about getting the Bellas online, but the prices were too damn high, and luckily I finally found them the other day.
Don't know what I'm gonna do about RRH Bret, HBK, and Goldust, though. Still have never seen PPV Mark Henry at TRU, either.
I never want to pay an RSC price on a hard to find item, though.

I usually only buy at retail for this exact reason. I do make online purchases but usually during Ringside's sales or I'll buy a loose figure on ebay if its been out for a few years. There's been some that I would love to order or preorder, to guarantee that I get them instead of risking it at retail. But usually online prices are higher and I end up talking myself out of it because I'd hate to find it alot cheaper later at Walmart or Toys R Us.
Of course sometimes the prices aren't too bad if its something you're really wanting...but then you have to add shipping costs on top of it, and that usually helps make my decision too.

Yeah, it sucks when it happens. Especially when it costs more online. Bit of a kick n the teeth, but also a little funny in the damn I should have waited way.

No but ive had several instances where I missed out on a figure and was really really mad only to get it at a later date for a cheaper price than what I would of paid for them if I hadnt missed out. Had that happen several times actually.
