Thought I'd make a thread about it because it's not gonna stay in the Raw thread forever
Finally.
No more Cheesy joke Punk who lost his edge that he had a year ago. I think it's been a good slow burn, him not main eventing at all this year and Eve plantting seeds a few weeks back, saying he's taken a back seat to Rock and Cena.

Ya that was pretty sweet. It was obvious he was gonna do something to The Rock based on earlier. Hopefully we get a fatal 4 way at Summerslam.

Best FN ending to a Raw OF ALL TIME. Damn it WWE delivered on that ending alone. Best Raw of all time and i was thinking Raw would end with the Lame Big Show but Rock coming out was better but ending the show with Rock would suck but Punk turning his back on Cena, Rock & the WWE 'universe' was epic.
Well done WWE and the real Punk is back. Punk vs Rock at the Rumble.

Punks heel, which is great. The guy is great as a face and a heel. I mean I dont blame him for GTSing The Rock, who doesnt even
deserve a title shot.

I don't know about you all, but RAW 1000 was an epic failure for 3+ hours.... until Punk turned heel at the very end.

Out he comes next week, starts a promo about how he's never been allowed to shine on his own, how he's been constantly pushed to the side for John Cena and visiting has-beens like The Rock or Brock Lesnar, more than that, how every title match he's been a part of in the last 13 months has revolved around the belt brought in and tailor made for John Cena, constantly reminded that Cena is the face of the company even when the belt isn't around his waist because every time that title gets lifted over his head, put around his waist or thrown over his shoulder it's a reminder that, no matter who's holding it, the WWE and its title is John Cena's.
Pulls out a new belt and starts shooting on Dwayne for being the huge piece of craphe actually is. WWE will learn to revolve around wrestling again as far as CM Punk is concerned, he's sick of seeing huge egos plastered across the posters that should have CM Punk on them as the champion and, therefore, number one guy in the company.

Definitely one of the most justified heel turns in forever.
He is the WWE Champion and hasn't closed out a single PPV in 2012. I cannot wait to see where they go with this, things just got extremely interesting.

I didn't see it coming, but I love CM Punk as a heel so this should be good for future weeks. Hopefully he brings back those intense promos and takes some more shots at the company.
