As reported earlier, WWE's annual Extreme Rules pay-per-view event is being moved back a month next year. The event will occupy the weekend typically reserved for Over the Limit as it takes place May 19th, 2013 at the Scottrade Center in St. Louis, Missouri on May 19th, 2013.

So is that 1 PPV a month now? or was there another month with 2 PPVs?

Interesting. Could be a simple switch, or maybe (hopefully) we could see a return of Backlash.

Extreme Rules fits better in April since its the WM rematches taking place but tweaked up with the stipulations.
Bring back Backlash for the April slot.

Yeah seriously where the is a philly PPV? We havent had one since Night of Champions and there was a rumor that Hell In A Cell was supposed to be here this year but it got changed. Im dying for a PPV soon even though I will be at Mania in Jersey i'd love a PPV here ASAP.

That is odd.
I guess they will either just move OTL to the spot after WM or bring back Backlash.
Of course they could also not have a PPV in April since most of the times they have WM in the first 5 days of April. That would give Extreme Rules a lot of time to build up matches although something makes me think that wouldn't really make the feuds much better...

I honestly think this is because they might be planning to 'END' feuds at mania instead of starting them like normal, so there giving Extreme Rules time to make new fueds

Of all the PPVs to cancel, I think the late-April spot is by far the worst one to get rid of. With the way WWE treats the "majesty & pageantry" trainwreck known as Wrestlemania, this just means we're gonna get a solid month of absurd replays of an already over-hyped and under-delivering event.
Placing Extreme Rules directly after Wrestlemania was a great way to clear the air and start some new things while still wrapping up some loose ends; Extreme Rules '11 & '12 were both more impressive than their respective Manias in my opinion. I hope that they either put Over The Limit (I know a lot of people don't care for it but it's also one of my favorite PPVs) or Backlash in the late April spot as opposed to removing it altogether.

Over the Limit sucked anyways. They need to bring back Backlash.
I don't know why that's such a great PPV, but I've always liked it.

How about Australia getting a PPV? I know may never happen. If Extreme Rules gets built up properly not just rushed, it could be the greatest PPV of the year.

Interesting. Could be a simple switch, or maybe (hopefully) we could see a return of Backlash. Hopefully, I never got why they removed Backlash when the last PPV was really good.

I wish WWE would stop changing their pay-per-views. The schedule from ten years ago was perfect. There wasn't a need to change it.
