Everything sold out except
DDP and Bundy.

They're not actually sold out. As many has said, MattyCollector will say something is sold out, only to bring it back when something else related is released (IE: Tully Blanchard) or during a sale.

MattyCollector is a freaking joke. Lying to us... come on, dude. I am kinda glad that I won't have to deal with them anymore. They don't have any respect for their customers.

motuc may be done , if they dont get enough subscriptions... they may be a huge company , but they do have some big faults in the way some things seem to be ran.. but i love some of the product they make...

They prob want DPP & Bundy to sell more since they werent selling & want to make people believe they will sell out quick,I doubt the other figures are sold out.

Arn and The Rockers aren't really sold out is the thing. They will both be reposted in the coming months I'm sure as Mattel has a track record with things like this.

I ordered Arn and Andre back on July 16th, after no shipping notice by the 24th I emailed them and they said the item I ordered was out of stock, (even though it wasn't at the time I placed the order) but that they were working on getting more. Just now on the 4th of August got the shipping notice, so it seems they dug some up from somewhere. I had waited on getting Andre until DDP came out, so as to not get raped on shipping, but he "sold out" right before then...didn't really want Bundy at the time so I waited to order Andre when Arn came and of course more shenanigans. Bottom line though, yeah if these things were actually selling out the line would be continuing and not cancelled. Seems an odd way of doing business to me, but that's Mattel in a lot of ways, if their product wasn't so good I'd probably not bother dealing with them.

Never been on there, maybe once, they had Mattel Deluxe Stands, they looked awesome but they were 'sold out' and I probably wouldn't spend that much on them anyway.

They remove things and put them back at future dates all the time. (usually during a "big sale" or holiday sale) Plus they also hold some back in case there are damaged or lost orders. They usually aren't really sold out until it says "Gone for Good". And like Figure Addict said if it doesn't sell out in the first week it's considered a failure in Mattel's eyes

I think the Rockers are legit gone.
I bought a set July 2nd. NEVER shipped. Out of stock at the warehouse, they said. They said it would be at least 8 weeks or longer IF they ever got more in stock.
I suppose there could be more but if they are not in the warehouse -- then where are they?

They are a frustrating company. If they aren't making enough profit, of course they have to shut down a line, that's completely reasonable. Other times it feels like Mattel is the spoiled kid that doesn't want to share his toys. |
