I just thought this will make an interesting topic.
This goes out to people that take out they're figures from the package. When you guys buy/recieve a new figure do you open it as soon as you get home or do you wait until the next day so you can admire the figure in the box all moc?
I do the latter, lol I dunno why but ever since I was a little kid, around tye age if 5 I began doing this, everyone else would rip open their toy straight after they leave the store, but I would just keep it in the box, admire it for that day and open it the next morning.
I want to know if I'm the only one, or any other strange rituals you guys might have.

If you mean straight away after I buy it...no.
I wait patiently until the car ride is over, open the house door, open my room door, jump on my bed and absolutely destroy the thing.

I open mine as soon as they arrive. If I pick one up in retail, Ill wait til i get home then open it. I keep all my boxes in tip top shape stored away so even if i wanted to pack it back up down the road, I could.
MOC collecting is such a waste. Especially for Mattel WWE line. Ya spend, already, outrageous amounts on a plastic figure, and people just keep it in the packaging then. Thats a big waste of money for me. Plus MOC takes up so much space to display. Once ya get so many, you end up having to just store them away in boxes anyways never to enjoy them. Might as well just not buy them and enjoy the pics of them online, or just open them carefully like I do, keep the boxes and resell later in life.

Open immediately. it's the pay off of a purchase. Then they go to display. And then there's a feeling of "ok....well thats that....on to the next fig!" it's a hunger that is never satisfied. "Feed me more.....FIGS!"

I open it as soon as it arrives, and if I get it at retail I wait until I get home. Although when I got the Bella's in the mail I admired the package for quite a while.

I still have some stuff I haven't opened that's been sitting there for weeks (Diesel) just because I am not all that excited about the figure.

If there are doubles on the shelves, I open the figure in the parking lot to check for defects and exchange if need be. If my little bro's with me, he open opens them up on the way home. It's great seeing a match break out on my dashboard.

I open them literally as soon as I get in the car after buying it. Or receiving it. Depends on how I get it.
