I want one so bad. Mainly because they say it never breaks down and you don't have to ever replace it. Can't bring myself to pay that kind of money. Sent from my Nexus 7 using proboards It doesn't block sweat and other bodily fluids from entering the mattress, I'm assuming you'll have to replace it eventually.

I did buy a Tempurpedic pillow recently. It cost like $200 but man was it worth it. My only regret is that I didn't buy the queen size version instead of the standard version. I sleep like a log on that thing. Sir you are correct it was just a foam mattress they happened to own in the store.

You're probably right. I'm just going off what the sales weasel told me. He pitched it to me that the price is worth it because you'll never have to replace it again.

I just got a tempurpedic mattress about a month ago and it's really great. Compared to several other mattresses, they are about the same (even cheaper than some) competitor's mattresses. Plus they come with a 20 years warranty. If it improves the quality of your sleep, go for it. I heard the phrase "don't get it for the eight hours you sleep each night, get it for the sixteen that you're awake".

I've been looking at the Tempurpedic & the iComforts...they're both very similiar in features and in price. But I think the iComforts do actually go on sale at times. The iComfort seems to do a better job of staying cool, and not building up heat. The cons I've been wrestling with is that almost none of the memory foam stuff is spamble. While this isn't a huge deal for most...its something to at least think about. I'd love to buy a less expensive memory foam mattress but my biggest concern is being a larger guy (250lbs ish lol) I can almost gurantee you that in 6 months I'll have an indentation in it. From what I've been told is that the Tempurpedics won't leave the indents or valleys, and if they do they'll replace it...but c'mon on now we all know how warrantys work! They sound so good in the store and make you feel comfortable but how many times is it a big production to get warranty coverage on some stuff. At any rate...sorry for the rant!
