WESTERN TERRITORY WRESTLING TV: #001WESTERN TERRITORY WRESTLING TV [9/7] | - Similar to the three territories previously, we see clips of the various wrestlers that the Western Territory has to offer. The likes of Sting, Rey Mysterio, John Morrison, Davey Richards & Daniel Bryan are really highlighted as we go live to a packed arena in California. The best crowd for any territory so far and these fans are ready to go for some action. A graphic is shown and announced overhead that we will see a 20 man battle royal tonight to crown the first ever Western Territory Champion! - But first, Daniel Bryan makes his way down to the ring and the fans greet him with boos of course. Bryan doesn’t take them lightly and wants to know why the fans would boo the best technical wrestler in the world today. Bryan goes on about how he puts Bret Hart to shame and he is the new best there is, was and ever will be! Bryan is interrupted by John Morrison, who didn’t take too kindly to those words it seems. He tells Bryan that he is and never will be better than Bret Hart or even Morrison himself! Crowd gets behind Morrison and Bryan tells him he doesn’t have to prove anything to him and he will show him tonight in the ring. 1. Damien Sandow def. Charlie Haas following a neckbreaker [04:11] ** - Sandow takes a bow for the fans and tells them that they are welcome for his time. Haas needs medical attention as Sandow walks out happy with himself. - Highlight package for Sting is played here. - Rey Mysterio is backstage getting ready for the battle royal and the crowd pops when they see him. Sting walks into the picture and the crowd goes nuts for these two. Sting stares Rey down and finally says that it’s been a LONG time. Rey agrees and wishes Sting luck tonight. 2. Mark Henry def. Max Buck (w/Jeremy Buck) following the World’s Strong Slam [02:54] 1/2* - As Jeremy tried to attend to his partner, Henry picked him up and slammed him as well for good measure. - Promo showing that the battle royal is next! 3. The battle royal ended in a no contest after Mysterio & Bryan’s feet both touched the floor at the same time [16:15] **1/2 - The two men argued before the referee called it a no contest and neither man could believe it. As the show draws to a close, the Western Territory is left without a Champion and both Mysterio & Bryan are livid as they both feel that they are rightfully the champion!

WEEK IN REVIEW: #001COLUMN BY: JAMES PIETRAFESA [SEPTEMBER 10TH, 2012] | - The first ever week of the United Wrestling Territories is now history and it is time to recap what you all may have missed. According to the higher ups in the UWT, this week was considered a moderate success and more or less what they were planning on business wise. Each some attracted the forecasted crowd and it is believed that the live shows had gone over better than the television shows. Reason for this may be that most of the television programming had to be re-written several times in order for everything to fit within time restraints. UWT writers and staff will be looking to improve on television quality within the upcoming weeks.
- Thankfully, it was an injury free week in the UWT. May the good vibes keep rolling.
- No rumblings within the locker rooms of the territories, as everyone is just looking to put on a decent show for the fans and more importantly, everyone wants to get paid here.
RATINGS
- UWT Central Territory Wrestling TV drew a 0.88 on its local affiliate channel and an incredible (for what was expected) 2.01 on the UWT network. Central Wrestling TV had the best debut out of all the territories and really picked up in the second half of the show.
- UWT Southeastern Territory Wrestling TV drew a 0.74 on its local affiliate channel and a decent 1.34 on the UWT network, coming second to the Central television program.
- UWT Western Territory Wrestling TV drew a 0.71 on its local affiliate channel and 1.21 on the UWT network, which is pretty decent compared to what was expected.
- Coming up the rear is UWT Northeastern Territory Wrestling TV, which drew a 0.60 from its local affiliate and a 1.04 on the UWT network. This came as a surprise as the Northeastern Territory is heavy with talent that fans love and know.

CTW: The weirdest thing about this was the six man elimination match, just because it really drives the point that this is four super indies in one. CM Punk seemed the obvious choice to win out of the six involved. The Sabin / Bourne match would probably be awesome to see, they're two guys who can both wrestle and hit the high spots. I don't understand why Hennig gets to use his real name and Chris Hero has to use the Kassius Ohno moniker, terrible decision for me.
NTW: Based on this main event I'm guessing the North is the sports entertainment fed. Considering you had Undertaker retire I don't like that Triple H seems to be a regular feature. Angle going over is fine I guess, I'm hoping he isn't champion for too long. Edwards / Lethal is a cool little match, nice to see Edwards going over. Morgan over JTG is an obvious squash. The Ryder / Ki / Homicide segment was weird, but I guess it could lead to something interesting.
STW: I'm loving the idea of the tournament, good to see you're not just going down the 'crown all of the champions' route straight away. It was also a really good way of showcasing some of the awesome talent you've got on this show, especially Dolph and Roderick Strong, would love to see those two compete. Not sure on the idea of a Hardy Boy feud, would rather see them team up for nostalgia quite honestly, especially since this territory seems to have a solid tag team base.
WTW: The battle royal was a very interesting way of crowning a first champion, though you probably could have put some more detail in and at least told us who was in it. Bryan and Mysterio's feet both touching at the same time adds a bit more than simply crowing the first champion. Great to see Sandow going over, hopefully you do some big things with him. Sting cameo was cool, but I hated Mark Henry squashing the Young Bucks, felt like cheap booking.
A decent start, nothing really jumped out at me and there were some things that I didn't particularly like, but it's a good idea and you've got a decent foundation, I hope you do something big with it. I think you need to either put make the televised shows longer or add some more detail and storyline progression to the live shows because right now there's no way to develop any proper storylines with one hour a week.

CENTRAL TERRITORY WRESTLING TV: #002CENTRAL TERRITORY WRESTLING TV [9/11] | - A tribute video involving the attacks of September 11th, now 11 years ago, was shown. The crowd gave it a great reception and then cheered as the second edition of Central TV was about to start. The Central Territory Champion, CM Punk, comes down to the ring and the crowd gives him a nice reaction. He thanks the fans for a wonderful reception but then goes on about how they aren’t worthy to be in the same building as someone as good as him. The crowd quickly turns on Punk as he goes on and on about how much better he is than them. Punk was quickly interrupted as Randy Orton walks down to the ring and tells Punk that his ego has gotten the best of him. Punk brings up the fact that he pinned Orton last week in the elimination match, therefore whatever Orton says really doesn’t matter. Before these two can banter on more, Orton told Punk that they will meet again in the ring tonight and each man will choose a partner for a good old fashion tag match! Punk nods and clocks Orton in the head with his microphone for good measure. Punk strolls up the ramp as Orton holds his head and pounds the ground. 1. James Storm def. Jimmy Jacobs following the Eight Second Ride [04:55] ** - Storm celebrates his dominating victory with the crowd. It appears that this youngster has a lot of talent and could go far here in the Central Territory. - Jack Swagger makes his way down to the ring after a short commercial break and says that it’s the moment of truth. Who will answer his open challenge from last week? To his surprise, and the crowd’s as well, Rob Van Dam is up to the task and runs down to the ring to get things going. 2. Jack Swagger def. Rob Van Dam following a low blow and small package [07:13] **1/2 - After a decent match, Swagger uses underhanded tactics to get the win over RVD and the crowd boos him loudly. Swagger jumps around like he just won the Superbowl and scurries out of the ring before RVD can recover himself and enact revenge on Swagger. - We see CM Punk leaving an unmarked locker room with a smile on his face. Who is his tag partner tonight?! We will find out…next! 3. Randy Orton & Austin Aries def. Central Territory Champion CM Punk & The Miz following a RKO to the Miz [11:13] **1/2 - Punk is livid that his hand selected teammate could get the job done for him and goes to inflict damage on the Miz, but Orton chases him out of the ring. Punk flees with his championship as Orton looks on from the ring. To end the show, for good measure, Orton delivers one more RKO to the Miz for the fans enjoyment.
