crapty card is still crapty.......... The last ROH show I saw live had: Strong/Cole Elgin/Hero Future Shock/WGTT Lethal/Richards Steen worked someone I can't remember who  Briscoes worked someone as well that I can't remember. This show has: Elgin/Alexander Young Bucks/Bad Influence Lethal/ACH It might as well be two different companies. Young Bucks/Bad Influence is the best match on the card. Even though Elgin/Alexander should be alright. The Homecoming. I remember that show and how hyped I was for Hero vs. Elgin and then how disappointed I was when I finally saw it. I thought it was great but Richards/Lethal was awesome. |

I'm really looking forward to Elgin/Alexander. I know not everyone is a huge fan of Cedric, but I really like him. Also interested in seeing him vs Styles in an ROH ring. I got to see them wrestle in person a few months back ad it was fantastic. Elgin vs. Ciampa should also be good. I don't know which of these I'll be able to see, but I'll watch all that I can.
Are any going to be ippv? I haven't heard anything on the matter, so I'm assuming not. I hope they do another soon though. Also, when is Final Battle? I don't seeit on their upcoming shows page.

Next iPPV is September 6th in Toronto. Final Battle has no date yet because they lost Hammerstein due to Manhattan Center jacking up the prices so my guess is they're trying to find somewhere to host the show. The Homecoming. That was a dark point for me with ROH. Early 2012...actually, 2012 as a whole nearly killed my interest in the product because you could see how much influence Cornette had on the product and it got really, really bad at times. It's actually what drove me to buy every PWG DVD that year because they used the same guys but didn't hold them back with stupidity and largely didn't book matches that gave me headaches. |

That's one I'm cautiously optimistic for. I can enjoy the Bucks if they're kept around 15 minutes. Any more than that and they lose me but they're in the ring with my favorite tag team in wrestling bar none so I'll give that one a shot

Guys, I think it's gonna be Bad Influence vs. the Bucks at All Star Extravaganza. Remember how last year, reDRagon lost the belts to the Hooligans right before ASE in Canada? I remember reading it was because apparently Bobby can't get into the country due to some felony assault charge or something like that. reDRagon are defending the belts against Bad Influence tonight at Field of Honor and I would not be shocked if they dropped the belts there.
Now that I think about it, wasn't Fish on Global Wars back in May? So that would shoot the whole "he can't get into Canada" thing right in the ass but I do remember reading last year that's why RD lost the belts to the Hooligans. Maybe they got whatever issue he had resolved. Still would not be shocked if RD lost the titles tonight either way.

Getting out is easy, as it's US letting you into their country... and we clearly don't give a shit.
It's getting in that makes you feel like a criminal. Those Canadians are on top of their game.

Getting into/out of Canada seems to be a fairly wonky process. From what i remember him saying, i think it has something to do with him trying to gain permanent residence in the states. You have to be there a certain amount of time. i''m sure it's close to canadian law were you have to there for a certain amount of time then you can apply for your green card and try to become a citizen, if his wife is american he should be ok for a while. they have a lighting rig, one of ROH's big problems for the show has been solved! |
