I love the 2k basketball series and very much looking forward to this game. I saw some gameplay from the resurrected nba live/elite franchise and hated it! yeah it looks nice with the espn integration but i'm sticking with 2k. i've been playing 2k12 ever since i got the game for christmas this past year. 2k13 looks awesome. i've seen some gameplay videos about the all star weekend and new right stick control which looks awesome! check 'em out!
my team is the pistons so i'm going to start up an association with them. can't wait to build around brandon knight and greg monroe along with tearing it up with andre drummond. the young no orleans hornets team should be fun to play with as well. first thing i'm doing once i find a realistic slider set is playing dream team vs. 2012 usa team. cannot wait for the release of this game!

Charles Barkley and the Dream Team makes this a release day purchase for me. I have been waiting for ages for Barkley to be in a game again. Weird that they couldn't come to an agreement with Pippen since he is bankrupt, but I don't like him anyway.

Is this better than the Basketball game EA produce? If the Live gameplay that leaked a while back was anything to go on, then yes; this'll definitely be better. I've always preferred 2K over Live, personally. |

Is this better than the Basketball game EA produce? For me, yes just judging by what we've seen so far. Live is more of an arcade game while 2K is more of a realistic approach for basketball. On a unrelated note, it's kinda random how Viva La Vida is in the soundtrack for 2K13 lol. |

Jay-Z came up with the soundtrack, and apparently Jay-Z and Chris Martin are bros.As for the game itself, I'm skeptical. 2K11 was amazing, but 2K12 sucked balls. The AI was completely broken and the online was more barebones than games from six years ago. Dream Team and new modes won't do anything for me if the game is still hilariously unfair to play. |

I don't play online, so I am just hoping that single player is fun, or the occassional game with a few friends. Barkley is really a sell to me. I might wait for the inevitable sports game 39.99 price though.

Really anxious or this game! Pre ordered it two weeks before it was going to come out and now we're just two days. Crazy how time flies! I'm so ready though, especially for MyCAREER.
