The Bound for Glory Series would come to a close at the No Surrender pay-per-view, with the final four of Kurt Angle, AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, and James Storm fighting for a chance at a World Heavyweight Championship match. The final four were shaking up within the final two weeks of iMPACT Live before No Surrender. Bully Ray would be attacked by Aces and 8s which took him out of action for 4-6 weeks due to injury, which meant he couldn't finish the series. This would allow AJ Styles to slide into the Final Four along with his victory on iMPACT Wrestling over Samoa Joe, showing that he wasn't just about to luck into the final four. Kurt Angle would almost luck into the championship tournament when Rob Van Dam would get himself disqualified in a match against "Cowboy" James Storm, costing himself 10 points. This would drop Van Dam from the championship tournament, allowing Kurt Angle to pull himself into the final four. Kurt would get a win over Jeff Hardy on iMPACT Live gaining seven more points in the series. Samoa Joe (68 points) and James Storm (66 points) would be the first "Bound for Glory Series" match at No Surrender, but "The Icon" Sting would throw a twist in the night. He would double all the points for victories thus the pressure was on Samoa Joe to score a submission victory to eliminate any chance of Kurt Angle and AJ Styles winning the series. Samoa Joe wouldn't get his wish though as during the match Bobby Roode would appear from the crowd and crack a beer bottle over the head of Samoa Joe. James Storm {and the iMPACT Zone} was shocked for this to happen, as James Storm would lose the match via disqualification and lose 20 points! Samoa Joe would gain six points at the DQ victory and walk out with 72 points. James Storm's championships hopes had been dashed by Bobby Roode's obvious screw-job. The pressure was then turned to AJ Styles (57 points) and Kurt Angle (55 points), as any chance of winning the tournament would fall on the shoulders of a submission victory! This match played into the favor of the submission expert Kurt Angle, but AJ Styles didn't go down without a fight. Styles used various submissions - including Kurt Angle's own ankle lock - but Angle refused to lose. The match carried over into the 25 minute mark with both men showing signs of exhaustion, especially AJ Styles who had been split open by a wild forearm by Kurt Angle. The final moments of the match worked the iMPACT Zone into a frenzy as AJ Styles would somehow nail the pele kick on Angle. Styles instincts kicked in as he rolled to the apron and barely pulled off a 450 splash. The move would prove to be the last burst of energy from the former world champion, as he would collapse on top of Kurt Angle for the victory. AJ Styles finally regained some of his sense as the official raised his hand, but as the final numbers appeared on the big screen, Styles was in disbelief that despite his amazing effort against Kurt Angle... he wouldn't win the Bound for Glory Series. Styles would only lose the series by one point, which is an obvious heart breaker. Final Bound for Glory Standings Samoa Joe: 72 Points (Winner) AJ Styles: 71 points Kurt Angle: 55 points Mr. Anderson: 47 points James Storm: 46 points Jeff Hardy: 45 points Christopher Daniels: 33 points Magnus: 28 points Robbie E: 12 points D'Angelo Dinero: 7 points --- TNA No Surrender Quick Results - Samoa Joe defeated James Storm via DQ in a Bound for Glory Series Match - AJ Styles defeated Kurt Angle in a Bound for Glory Series Match - Kazarian/Christopher Daniels defeated Hernandez/Chavo Guerrero to retain the TNA World Tag Team Championships - Brooke Tessmacher defeated Madison Rayne to retain the TNA Knockout Championship - Zema Ion defeated Eric Young [mystery challenger] to retain the TNA X-Division Championship Featured during the pay-per-view was Aces & 8s who interrupted the pay-per-view feed to speak their mind. The mouth piece revealed that they are all hired hands by an individual. They encourage everyone within the TNA locker room to look at each and every member of the roster, because anyone in the locker room could be the one that is pulling the strings. They reveal that soon, it will all be out in the open and they will learn why those who were chosen, were given the dead man's hand....

TNA iMPACT Wrestling Live | 9/13/2012 _______________________
IMPACT Wrestling opens with a recap of No Surrender with the focus being primarily on Samoa Joe vs. James Storm, along with Kurt Angle vs. AJ Styles.
Following the intro, Mike Tenay and Taz welcome us to the broadcast, teasing Jeff Hardy and Rob Van Dam facing off in the main event.
Almost on cue, the music of Samoa Joe plays throughout the iMPACT Zone as the #1 contender for the World Heavyweight Championship walks to the room with a little more cockiness than usual. Samoa Joe cuts a promo about fighting his way back to the World Heavyweight Championship picture, proving that he is still without a doubt the best wrestler in iMPACT Wrestling. Joe promotes how he had every type of challenger thrown his way during the Bound for Glory Series, yet nobody could out due him in the points battle. Samoa Joe said that he should come out here and thank the fans for supporting him, but that'd be a load of crap. He turns on the fans citing that nobody has noticed that he's been out of the World Championship picture for years, saying that the fans have found their new flavor of the month in Austin Aries. It didn't take long for “A-Double” to come down to the ring and correct Samoa Joe, as the champion's music plays.
Austin Aries says that he finds the comments by Samoa Joe almost amusing, because it's just a bunch of talk. He says that Samoa Joe didn't dominate the Bound for Glory Series, that he lucked into the victory at No Surrender due to Bobby Roode's interference. He says that he isn't taking anything away from Samoa Joe's ability nor his entire run in the Bound for Glory Series, but to say that nobody could out due him in the points battle is laughable. Aries then turns attention to the comments about Aries being the flavor of the month, but Aries says that he isn't the flavor of the month. He talks about how someone as great as himself can't be the flavor of the month, mainly because of the World Championship sitting on his shoulder. He tells Samoa Joe that they can come out here for weeks and throw petty insults at each other until Bound for Glory, or they can do it the honorable way. Aries proposes that they shake hands tonight and then train as hard as they can for the next few weeks to put on a clinic at Bound for Glory, letting the greatest man win.
Samoa Joe nods and they shake hands, but Joe headbutts the World Heavyweight Champion which knocks Aries to the mat. Joe puts the boots to Aries and makes it clear that Samoa Joe isn't about honor, he's about hurting people and winning championships.

Devon defends the World Television Championship against Mr. Anderson : Devon is a man of his world regarding defending the World Television Championship, as he lays down an open challenge which is accepted by Mr. Anderson. Devon was looking to build some huge momentum with a victory over Anderson, but Anderson would score the victory following the Mic Check on Devon. Anderson would celebrate his World Television Championship victory by celebrating in the crowd with his fellow assholes.
The cameras turn backstage where Austin Aries is asked for his thoughts on Samoa Joe's ambush on him. Aries says that he got what was expected from someone like Samoa Joe. He says that he respects the in-ring talent that Samoa Joe has, but calls Samoa Joe someone that doesn't have an inch of honor nor respect in his body. Aries is then asked about Aces & 8s trying to break his hand a few weeks ago, which he said they should learn to do a better job, because he's still going strong. In the office of Hulk Hogan [and Sting], Brooke Hogan is shown talking with Hulk Hogan and Sting. She tells them that she can't be in charge of the Knockouts Division as long as Aces & 8s is running around attacking everyone, including trying to come after her. Hulk and Sting say that they understand, saying that whenever this entire situation is over, she is welcome back. Brooke leaves the room as Hulk and Sting talk about how the sooner whomever behind Aces & 8s reveals themselves, the better.
Chavo Guerrero vs. Christopher Daniels : With Christopher Daniels and Kazarian would defeat Chavo and Hernandez at No Surrender, they didn't seem to solve any issues they had with each other. This lead to this singles match on iMPACT Wrestling, which almost seemed like Christopher Daniels was going to dominate. In a late match comeback, Chavo used a flurry of offense to try and put away Daniels, which wasn't far out of reach following a frog splash. It wasn't until Kazarian appeared on the stage with a wooden horse [who Taz assumed name's was Pepe] which distracted Chavo long enough for Daniels to recover and get a roll-up on Chavo for the victory. Following the match, Kazarian and Daniels mocked Chavo from the stage with “Pepe” before Hernandez would appear behind them. Hernandez grabbed both and carried them to the ring, allowing Chavo and Hernandez to beat them down. Daniels and Kazarian would only escape when Daniels tossed “Pepe” at Hernandez and the two bailed.

A video airs that was shot following No Surrender. It's of AJ Styles talking about losing by one point in the Bound for Glory Series, which he refers to as the “worse loss of his career”. He says that he'll find a way to get a championship match against whomever leaves Bound for Glory as champion, regardless if it's Samoa Joe or Austin Aries.
AJ Styles vs. Gunner : AJ Styles was obviously still hurting from his physical match with Kurt Angle, which allowed for Gunner to pick apart AJ Styles – mainly in the midsection – little by little. Gunner seemed more intent on punishing the phenomenal one than hurting him, going as far as to pull Styles' shoulders off the mat at a one count. Gunner's plan of just hurting Styles would come back to haunt him as Styles would show why he's the phenomenal one with a great comeback which would lead to the victory following a Styles Clash. Styles celebrated his victory by motioning around his waist that he was coming for the World Heavyweight Championship.
Backstage, Hulk Hogan and Sting are talking about AJ Styles' heartbreaking loss at No Surrender and saying that he's proven that he deserves a championship match. During the segment, a staff member walks in with a DVD in hand and says that someone told them to deliver this directly to Hulk Hogan. Hogan takes the DVD and plays it via the laptop on his desk, the footage reveals members of Aces & 8s walking near Brooke Hogan. The usual mouth piece of the group turns the camera around and shows his masked face, saying that they'd be in touch with their “demands”. Hogan – in an obvious rage – picks up the laptop and throws it against the wall. He yells at Sting that this has to end... now.

We return to iMPACT Wrestling with “Cowboy” James Storm already waiting in the ring. James Storm goes through a list of things that Bobby Roode has done that has almost destroyed his career including trying to frame him as the one behind Aces & 8s. He claims that none of those are worse than what happened this past Sunday where Bobby Roode screwed him out of the Bound for Glory Series. Storm says that it was his best chance at earning what was stolen from him when Bobby Roode lucked out at Lockdown earlier in the year and he's sick of it. He proclaims that it's time to end the feud between the two of them for good at Bound for Glory. Storm says that he's already cleared it with management and that if Bobby Roode has the “set”, they'll face off at Bound for Glory.
Bobby Roode comes down to the ring and says that he has nothing to prove to James Storm by beating him... again! He says that he has proven time and time again to be the better of the two, saying that James Storm would be embarrassed again. Storm says that Roode is just afraid that Storm will prove to be the better man in a fair match, which Roode denies. Storm then questions what Bobby Roode has to lose, saying that if he beats James Storm at Bound for Glory... he's proven his point. Roode still declines the match and goes to leave the top of the stage. Storm then says that what if he puts it all on the line... everything. Storm says that if Bobby Roode will fight him at Bound for Glory, he'll retire from pro-wrestling and go home, spend time with his wife and kids. Bobby Roode questions what will James Storm gain from this match – enough to put his career on the line – but James Storm says the satisfaction in knowing that he's the better of the two. Bobby Roode finally agrees to the match and again tries to leave, but James Storm has a trick up his sleeve by announcing that Roode just agreed to a match at Bound for Glory... which just happens to be a Texas Death Match! Roode quickly turns back around with his eyes widen and starts to back out, but Storm says that it's a done deal.

Backstage, Brooke Tessmacher is shown doing a photo shoot for iMPACT Wrestling's website when she's approached by Rosita and Sarita. Sarita tells Brooke that she's what is wrong with women's pro-wrestling, saying that she's showing that it's more about the “assets” than in-ring talent. Brooke reminds Sarita that she is the Knockouts Champion, but Sarita claims that the only reason she is still champion... is because she hasn't faced a real challenge like Sarita. Brooke says that she's willing to fight her tonight, but Sarita says that they'll have their match... on her terms.
Jeff Hardy vs. Rob Van Dam : In a blockbuster main event, Jeff Hardy and Rob Van Dam did battle with both men risking it all. They realize that TNA management is watching their every move to decide who will face the winner of the TNA World Heavyweight Championship match at Bound for Glory, so each match is important to win. The match would close with Jeff Hardy hitting the Twist of Fate followed by the Swanton Bomb on Rob Van Dam for the pin fall. Jeff Hardy celebrated his victory in the ring, but the feed cuts out.
Aces & 8s are shown saying that they are ready to “negotiate” with Hulk Hogan on the return of Brooke. They claim that their leader is ready to “come clean” and show their face to the entire world on iMPACT Live next week to prove that they are not cowards. They say that their only demand is that nobody on the iMPACT Wrestling roster by allowed near the ring, saying the only one this happens.. is if nobody attacks the “boss man”. The feed cuts out and shows Hulk Hogan backstage, he looks at Sting and says that they're going to give them what they want, agreeing that nobody will touch the stable next week. Sting says that next week it'll all end, but a twist comes when Brooke Hogan comes walking into the office. Brooke reveals that they didn't “take her” but just threatened to make her “another victim” if they didn't get what they want... which Hogan has already agreed to. The show closes with a furious Hulk Hogan giving Brooke a hug.

A title match between Aries and Joe should be pretty good. I'd have Styles penciled in as the next #1 contender. Clearly, he's the most deserving. Also, I'd hold off on Aces and 8s revealing themselves until Bound for Glory. The bigger the event, the better the revelation. Other than that, this diary is just fine.

TNA iMPACT Wrestling Live | 9/20/2012 _______________________
IMPACT Wrestling opens with a recap of last week's broadcast, including Aces & 8s playing mind games with Hulk Hogan to get what they want. The video fades into the backstage area where Hulk Hogan has assembled the troops [Austin Aries, AJ Styles, Jeff Hardy, Mr. Anderson, among others] and telling them that nobody is to lay a finger on Aces & 8s until after the mastermind reveals his identity.
Sarita/Rosita vs. Gail Kim/Madison Rayne vs. Brooke Tessmacher/Tara : The show starts with knockouts action with Sarita going after the Knockouts Champion, trying to show that she's a threat to Brooke's championship whenever she wants a championship match. The match would close when Tara would get double-teamed on the arena floor by Gail Kim & Madison Rayne. This allowed Rosita to dive from the top rope onto the three girls brawling and take them out of the match. Back in the ring, Sarita would be able to pull out the La Reienera to score the victory over the champion. Sarita and Rosita celebrated their victory as the cameras turned backstage.
In a locker room, Magnus speaks about Mr. Anderson being the television champion and calls it a “disgrace” that someone like Anderson would represent iMPACT Wrestling as champion. He promotes that he should be the Representative of TNA as the World Television Champion, as he has something that Mr. Anderson doesn't: class. He hypes how much of a “crossover” superstar he could be and that will start with the World Television Championship!
Sarita and Rosita are shown coming back from their match, which the interviewer inquires if a tag victory would give Sarita leverage for a championship match. She says that TNA management should just open their eyes and see that Brooke is what the Knockouts Division claims they are not, which is a diva. She put over people like Awesome Kong, Taylor Wilde, and Gail Kim who built the division which great matches and didn't rely on photo shoots. Sarita says she'll get her championship match and return the division to it's wrestling glory.

Doug Williams & Mark Haskins vs. Sonjay Dutt & Rubix Sonjay Dutt and Rubix made their return to iMPACT Wrestling to face the newly formed tag team of Doug Williams and Mark Haskins. Before the match, a video package aired showing Williams and Haskins wrestling overseas picking up multiple victories as a team. The match was all about Williams and Haskins trying to wear down the high-flying team of Dutt and Rubix. They would successfully put them away when Williams hit the Chaos Theory on Rubix for the pin fall. Following the match, Williams and Haskins cut a promo claiming that they're coming for the TNA World Tag Team Championships calling it their “destiny”.
Backstage, Christopher Daniels and Kazarian approach Chavo Guerrero backstage saying that they have a gift for him. They said it's their way of apologizing for abusing Chavo's friend “PePe” last week, which Chavo reluctantly opens the box which reveals a toy version of the TNA World Tag Team Championship. They begin to verbally abuse Chavo by claiming that will be the only tag team championship that he'll hold in TNA Wrestling, because Chavo isn't good enough to beat the World Tag Team Champions of the World. Daniels makes it more personal by saying that Chavo acts like a “legend”, but he just has a legendary last name. Chavo disagrees saying that he's wrestled all over the world and won championships in every organization he's ever been in. Kazarian points out that he isn't a champion now and that is what matters. Chavo says that he'll be a champion in iMPACT Wrestling following their re-match at Bound for Glory before walking away.
Kenny King vs. Kid Kash : In a match that would set-up Zema Ion's challenger at Bound for Glory, the grizzled veteran of Kid Kash looked to put away with up and coming King. It didn't take long for Kash to be in control of the match, but he seemed to underestimate King. King would be able to hit the Coronation to score the victory and the right to face Ion at Bound for Glory.
----commercial break----
“Cowboy” James Storm vs. “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles: The two friends would face each other, as Styles tried to prove that he was still deserving a future World Heavyweight Title shot. The match would end following Roode distracting James Storm allowing Styles to recover and roll Storm up for the three count. Styles would refuse the victory and claim that he doesn't want to win that way, asking Sting or Hulk Hogan to re-start the contest. Sting came out and had security escort Bobby Roode to the back, before re-starting the match. The result would be the same following the re-start, this time with AJ Styles hitting the Styles Clash for the victory. Following the match, AJ Styles and James Storm shook hands following Storm recovering from the Styles Clash.
Backstage, Austin Aries is shown talking with Hulk Hogan. Hogan tells Aries to play if safe tonight with Aces & 8s, as he needs to be 100% going into Bound for Glory. Aries says that there is nothing to worry about, he's going to take care of Aces & 8s tonight with the rest of the locker room, then Samoa Joe at Bound for Glory.

We return from commercial break with Sting and Hulk Hogan standing in the ring alongside Austin Aries. The three call out Aces & 8s saying that they made a deal last week and that it was time for the mastermind to be revealed. The “DixieTron” shows the mouth piece of Aces & 8s which he said that the deal was off. Hogan says that they made a deal, but the masked man on screen said that Aces & 8s isn't stupid. He says they have been watching the entire show and saw the entire idea that the locker room was going to attack the leader. The “DixieTron” fades to black and we see members of Aces & 8s jumping into the ring from the crowd. The group attacks Sting, Hogan, and Aries before members of the locker room hits the ring. Everyone brawls around the arena besides Austin Aries who is working over one of the members in the ring. Aries knocks the member out with the World Championship before pounding on him on the mat. Aries is then pulled off the member by Samoa Joe who came from out of nowhere who locks in a choke on Aries. The show closes with Aces & 8s brawling with TNA talent along with Samoa Joe choking out Austin Aries!
