Owen Hart and Yokozuna. Never really made any sense. I think they said the reasoning behind that tag team, was that Owen loved how Yokozuna ended Bret's first title reign, so he picked him as his partner. I think it was just good timing that Yoko was returning at the time. Owen was clearly supposed to win the titles with Neidhart. The Quebecers 123 Kid & Jannetty Headbanger Godwinns Bossman & Shamrock (unless you consider that a thrown together team) Too Cooland about 85% of the teams from 2002-Current

Man, Neidhart sure ed up his career with the stupid things he's done to get fired. He could have had many tag title reigns under his belt, instead of the two he has with Bret.

I wish they didn't let him go in 92. The New Foundation had the potential to be better than The Hart Foundation.

Ah I did not know that Owen and Anvil were to win the belts. Makes sense about the whole Yoko ending Brets first reign.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but weren't Charlie Haas & Rico tag champs? I know it's been said that the Ruthless Aggression era tag champions were mostly forgettable hodge/podge teams, but this one was just a mess. Kane & Hurricane were pretty ridiculous too.
*Edit* Wikipedia called. I had to answer.
Rico & Rikishi!? Did I miss something?

From what I've heard and read over the years, Neidhart was supposed to have been Owen's mystery partner and the pair were supposed to have gotten a soild push. I always felt Owen & Neidhart could have been the 2nd coming of the Hart Foundation. But up until early 1995, they were mid-card tag team talent at best. WrestleMania XI could have a launching of the team into new heights. Sadly it will never be.

Owen was clearly supposed to win the titles with Neidhart. and about 85% of the teams from 2002-Current I remember reading that Yoko's weight also played a role. He had been on hiatus for several months and when he returned at WM, he had gained something like 50 lbs. WWE wanted him back on TV, but his endurance was beggining to suffer at this point. Putting him in tag matches let him work in spurts.

They held the titles for three months, they should be ranked among the worst.

The Smoking Gunns. I'm sure a lot of people like them but I think they were horrible and horrible champs. That's probably just my personal opinion though.

Wow, how did a 3-1/2 year-old thread get dug up?
(At any rate, my vote would also go for the accidental reign of Men on a Mission.)
