Today's buy - and a sad sight at TRU today.

Okay so since yesterday I found Elite 15 at Walmart, and grabbed Evan Bourne for a friend of mine, I decided to look at 2 other Walmarts and see what they had. The first one had the same as yesterday's Walmart finds; Bourne, R-Truth, and Rey Mysterio from E15. But the 2nd Walmart proved beneficial, as I found E15 Sin Cara! Was waiting on this one, didn't want the Basic Sin Cara or the 2 pack with Bryan. I'm strictly an Elite collector now unless someone came in Basic form and was released from WWE before an Elite could come out, and Basic is the only way I'll get the guy [or girl]. It's a great figure too. And he ended a long drought, talking like 8 months of no good figures found, and he's the first since Vickie Guerrero in January. Snapped a few pics, even though everyone knows what he looks like.









....and onto the sadness at TRU . This could go on Mattel too with how much they over-saturate John Cena in nearly every series.

TRU has barely had ANYTHING in the last 9 months. I haven't bought a figure from there in over a year, back over LAST summer when they did the "Spend $25, get a free Legends 2-pack" promotion. They had - counting Rumblers, Elites, Basics, FlexForce, and 2 packs - 36 figure packs on the pegs and shelves. A whopping 29 of them were or included John Cena. 2 Undertaker, 3 Triple H, and 2 Sin Cara/Daniel Bryan packs. That was just appalling to me, to see that much in the way of John Cena at one store. No other store that I've been to recently - the 3 Walmarts included - had one John Cena figure. Not a basic, not a Rumbler, not ONE SINGLE John Cena figure. Those stores are nice. TRU has become the last place I will check if I go figure hunting anymore.
