So when I heard Basic 20 hit Australian shores this week, I just knew I had to get Natalya!
Soni made it my mission to find her this Friday. After ring over 20! TRUs and Targets on Friday morning and getting nothing but B20 Cena, Rey, Barrett, B18 Kelly Kelly, and B19 Kofi, Jinder and Hornswoggle (whom I was very close to buying and giving up on Natty), I ring one last Target which is located in a place Called Miranda which is 45 minutes south of where I live, O was directed to the Toy dept where what sounded like a middle aged man asked what I needed. I told him I was after the basic WWE figs and he went to check. The poor guy sounded exhausted looking for them. He read out the cards of the figures, "John Cena, Rey Mysterio, Wade.... And.... Natalya"?!?! HOLY GEFILTE FISH!!!! I asked him to put it in hold and I would pick it up before they closed at six!
I went and got ready and left the house at five and almost never made it due to rush hour traffic. Never had any lunch so I took a Hershey bar and Dr Pepper with me lol.
Anyways I managed to make it and have a price match of $15.00 instead of the retail price of $18.00 (Yes they cost an arm and a leg here in Australia!).
Anyways I just opened it and am going to review her! I hope you like:
This was what else Target had
This is Natalya MOC
The back
Her headscan is spot on! Someone here a few weeks ago was saying her old one looks better, but I have to disagree, this sculpt is magic!
Her black top has three silver stars with pink outline and polka dots inside. My theory is that the 3 stars stand for her being a 3rd Gen wrestler.
This is the back lol. I love her pant's design with the pink and black. Although the belt is lacking detail.
Her shoulder spikes, which were inspired by her "Divas of Doom/Destruction" run with Beth Phoenix, are removable which was cool of Mattel to include a "accesory", but one gripe is that it is only supported by her hair:(
But on the plus side, it stays on and doesn't not fall off.
This is her without the shoulder spikes, I was trying to make her do her pose, but because I was in a hurry, she kinda looks constipated lol.
Her boots are kick pad style, with black soles, pink tips and a pink outline of a Maple leaf with a pink heart with black outline inside.
Overall, I think this is the best diva figure ever by Mattel. I would like to thank everyone that told me to get it over B19 Hornswoggle in my previous thread.
I will be reviewing the SDCC Undertaker soon which is on its way down under.
I hope you all enjoyed this and thank you for taking the time to read it!
