My mom got me started by buying me Hasbro Hogan and Macho Man (purple) for Valentines Day when I was a kid. They were a tag team against my Ninja Turtles until I got more Hasbros.

Jakks WWF Superstars Series 2 Bret "Hitman" Hart, my parents rewarded me with him for good grades. Next I got the Meijers exclusive Shawn/Vader 2 pack and S3 Psycho Sid. While I was waiting on the monster ring to come out I'd wrap 3 rubber bands around the bottom of chair legs and have free-for-alls. He was the only wrestler to choose from @ Meijers besides a purple osftm Ric Flair. They were $4.99 back then, and they were state of the art even though they look like articulated cow pies next to today's figures. Before that in the early 90's, me and my friend would smack his LJN Hogan around with baseball bats and whatever he had in his backyard, we put all sorts of nails and screws through his head and it always made me laugh how he always had that cheery grin no matter what horrible thing he was in the midst of, like a Lego man.

It was the SummerSlam 1999 The Rock vs. Billy Gunn 2-pack, in TTL style; i got it in 2000. I had just started watching wrestling and The Rock was my absolute favorite and i despised Triple H. I actually remember thinking Billy Gunn was a Triple H figure in his underwear, I have no idea why. In my defense, I was 7. But I didn't really start collection figures from that point; the first figure I bought when I started collecting was the Ruthless Aggression 14 John Cena, the one with the spinner US Title. I got it in Early 2005, I think. And then it was a Batista. And a Flair. And a Triple H, An Orton, Mysterio, taker, Edge.. boy I remember the exact sequence I got 'em all in. Good times.

My first was the AWA Remco Battle Royal box set. It had the Fabulous Ones, the Baron, Rick Martel, Ric Flair, Larry Zbyszko, and referee Dick Woerhle. Wow! I hope you held on to that set!!!

I really think it was either Hasbro Smash or Jake The Snake. I always remember being so mad that I... or my mom, could never could find the Andre The Giant and my friend Nick had one. Grrr

Well as a little kid I remember buying a bunch of cheap LJN's and then as a teenager buying the first few series of hasbros. As a Mattel collector my first figures were EG Taker, Dibiase, Piper and Series 2 Legends case.
