Teacher vs. Student Dream Match
Phillip Schneider vs. Alexis Chavente
In the Survival of the Fittest tournament, Alexis Chavente proved herself to be a 100% credible contender within the WFWF, making it all the way to the Survival of the Fittest finale Elimination Chamber match. This week, she's got the biggest test she's had so far.. Probably the biggest test she'll ever have.. Phillip Schneider.
To say Phillip Schneider retained the championship at Survival of the Fittest would be a gross under estimate. He did things in order to retain that most people would consider unimaginable, including an attack that left Hutton Brown completely immobilized and stretchered out of the building. Schneider's behavior has been erratic lately and at Survival of the Fittest, it really came to a boil.
Shortly before Survival of the Fittest, the trainers of Alexis Chavente, Meg and Schneider, had a falling out. The two are no longer involved romantically or professionally. In pro wrestling, the natural thing to happen following a falling out is a wrestling match. This puts Alexis in a very bad situation. While she has been extremely impressive, still undefeated in singles competition, she's facing the reigning and defending WFWF World Heavyweight Champion, and a man that following his actions at Survival of the Fittest, anyone in the locker room would have to be insane to volunteer to face.
Schneider has a mean streak a mile long. He's no stranger to streaks, as he personally racked up one of the most impressive streaks in WFWF history. Will Alexis maintain her integrity of undefeated in singles competition, or will she fall victim to the tornado of hate and destruction known as Phillip Schneider? This is not one to miss, as it's sure to be one for the archive.
Triple Threat Match
Mak Cross vs. Yukio Blaze vs. David Brennan
To see Yukio Blaze back…it’s quite the sight for sore eyes. It’s been years since the Random Hero’s competed in a WFWF ring, and now he’s back, and he seems to have a chip on his shoulder that wasn’t there in his last run. In just his first match back, he ‘won’ the Battle Royal at Survival of the Fittest and qualified for the Elimination Chamber, and while he ultimately lost, he put on one hell of a show and put everyone on notice that he’s back and ready for action. As for Mak Cross, well he had himself an eventful Survival of the Fittest himself, but not necessarily for the reason that Yukio had. He defeated longtime rival Ripp Jackson in a qualifying match, and not only made it into the chamber, but he also aided Jackson in persuading the WFWF CEO to allow Jackson to keep his job. Mak Cross was so close to winning the chamber though…but then he took bear mace to the face from Ace. Bennett. Hey, that rhymed, kind of. But the point is, had it not been for Ace Bennett, Mak Cross very well may have won the Chamber. But alas, he didn’t. David Brennan did, which enters the third participant into this match, David Brennan…the winner of Survival of the Fittest. It’s been mentioned a couple of times already, he dominated the chamber, but to say that the way that he won was questionable is absolutely beyond an understatement. Well now Mak gets a chance at revenge. Yukio gets a chance to put himself back amongst the elite. Brennan gets the chance to prove that he is truly the best. This should be good.
Tag Team Action
Ace Bennett & Raider vs. Trace Demon & Scarlett Quinn
Well damn. Ace Bennett done f*cked up the Elimination Chamber. What his reasoning for it was remains to be seen, but what is known is that he and Raider still are the Tag Team Champions and, as such, are being booked in a tag team match here tonight. But one has to wonder what kind of advantage, or disadvantage either team has. Ace Bennett went to war with David Brennan, but he’s arguably the healthiest in the match. Raider went to war with Phillip Schneider and, thanks to Michael Kyzer, he came up short in the WFWF Championship match. Oh, and the FIRE TO THE FACE didn’t make matters all that much easier either. On the other side of the ring is the newest Grand Slam Champion, Trace Demon, who’s coming off of what can only be described as one of the greatest and most brutal matches in WFWF history, knocking Drakz and Drake Elias off by the skin of his teeth. And Scarlett, well, the girl not only ‘won’ a hard fought battle royal, she also went through hell within the Elimination Chamber later in the night. This match…should be interesting, for sure.
Epic Sexy Action
EBR vs. Dan Bennett
The man is back. He is here. EBR has returned. And Dan Bennett is debuting, all of the way from the WFWF’s sister federation that created EBR. This match makes sense, and doesn’t even need any explanation. Which is good…because I wasn’t told any. Just roll with it.
Singles Action
Drakz vs. Ripp Jackson
WFWF International Championship. Gone. Undefeated streak. Gone. Things couldn’t get a hell of a lot worse for Drakz right about now. And that’s some bittersweet news for Ripp Jackson, who’s got the lucky, or unfortunate draw of facing Drakz. Losing isn’t exactly virgin territory for Drakz, but it’s something that hasn’t happened in quite some time. What is his mindset? How will he tolerate losing? Take it in stride and demolish Jackson to reassert his dominance? Take it terribly and demolish Jackson out of pure rage? For Jackson, he’d better hope that it’s the latter, and hope Drakz makes some sort of mistake. Jackson is good, but Drakz is one of the greatest in history. Jackson is in quite the spot right now. Coming off of a loss to Mak Cross, we were all under the impression that the former WFWF Tag Team Champion would be without a job. But thanks to Mak Cross’s pleading to WFWF CEO Xavier Pierce, Jackson was allowed to keep his job. But for Jackson, a guy who hasn’t won since early this year, to go up against one of the greatest ever when he’s bound to be in a foul mood…this could be a bloodbath.
WFWF National Championship
Cameron Stone (c) vs. Joe Bishop
Cameron Stone actually won a title. Stranger things have happened, but now Cameron Stone finally has his claws in here in the WFWF, and for his first defense, he’s got a very strong challenger. Joe Bishop is a former WFWF National Champion and is looking to regain what he (albeit rightfully so) believes was taken from his waist far too soon years ago. Cameron Stone finally got over the ‘big hump’ even though it came after he absolutely demolished Slanted, doing to him what had been done to Stone so many times before. Tack on the whooping he delivered to Daniel Sabat and you've got one very angry champion. Then he finally managed to make it to the ‘big one.’ Now he’s got an even tougher challenge ahead of him. It’s a hell of a lot harder to retain a championship than it is to win one. We’ll see how true that statement really is.
Number One Contendership
WFWF National Championship
Cam Nitta vs. Daniel Sabat
Cam Nitta was the first WFWF National Champion after the championship was reintroduced into the WFWF. He held it for a few weeks, before Daniel Sabat made his debut and went on an undefeated streak, taking Nitta’s championship in the process. But now, Nitta and Sabat are both coming off of hard losses at Survival of the Fittest, Nitta to Chavente, and Sabat falling to Stone (and subsequently recieving a beatdown that one can only hope Sabat gets his revenge for at some point) and they both need a serious rebound. Nitta. Sabat. Round two. Winner faces the winner of Stone and Bishop for the WFWF National Championship next show. Big sh*t.
Opening Contest
Oscar Conrad Davidson vs. Leo Krause
These two battled strong in the battle royal, and now they’re getting the chance to go one on one. Awesome stuff man.
