JCP Heavyweight Championship Qualifier #1: "Z-Man" Tom Zenk vs. "Wildfire" Tommy Rich[/color]
00:00-3:40 This was a purely entertaining match featuring "The Z-Man" and "Wildfire". Zenk was pretty much entirely athletic in this match, starting out with numerous arm-drags, high-angle dropkicks and tornado DDTs, hell even a few leapfrogs and near-falls. However Rich quickly turned the action around, with a clothesline to the back of the head.
3:40-6:54 Tommy worked away at the left knee with several knee blocks and eventually locked in the figure-four leglock. With the crowd cheering on for Zenk to get out of it, he tried turning the submission over, but as he was about to turn onto his front, Rich slammed Zenk's legs to the mat, returning to his side of momentum. As Zenk screamed in pain, Rich got to his feet, still in the leglock and with a lot of confidence, started slapping the helpless Zenk across the face before posing before a sold-out arena in Omaha.
6:54-9:20 Soon, Rich started getting into the dirty moves, using nothing but eye pokes and posing to the crowd. As he hit Zenk with a Piledriver, Rich set up, ready for the Diving Fist Drop before Zenk shaked the ropes and made Rich fall on his privates, balancing on the top rope. Zenk then went up top as well, and hit a frankensteiner. Rich quickly countered Zenk's Superkick, swinging it away before yet another Super Kick, and got a 2-count.
9:20-18:51 As Zenk went up to the top, he got a 2-count after hitting a Moonsault from the top rope. Rich hit the Oklahoma Roll before the duo shared near-falls. The end of the roll-ups ended when Zek had a sunset flip, Rich rolled over and kicked Zenk in the face with his boot. Returning to the series of leg torture and submissions, Rich applied a single-legged Boston Crab. With more posing to the audience, Zenk reversed with his left (and injured leg) getting a low blow in. With yet more furious body slams and flying forearms, Zenk set up for another Superkick, but Rich reversed and hit a T-bone suplex before hitting the fist drop, which this time connected. The referee counted the 3-count and Tommy Rich advanced, ready to face either Matt Borne or Kevin Sullivan.

JCP Tag Team Championship Semi-Final #1: The Skyscrapers (Dan Spivey & Mark Callous) vs. Legion of Doom (Animal & Hawk)[/
00:00-2:52 Spivey started with Hawk in a match where the winning team would go to JCP's first pay-per-view (which is yet to be named) and challenge another two teams for the JCP Tag Team Championship. Hawk seemed pretty quick in this match, just trying to knock the 6-foot 8-inch man down. Hawk went right to work-or tried to go to work on the ribs of Spivey, but just couldn't knock the big man down. Eventually Hawk tagged in Animal and they both had a try at double-teaming Spivey from his feet. As that didn't work, the referee sent Hawk to the corner apron and Animal continued to hit Spivey. After a small part of time, Animal dived off of the ropes, dodged a clothesline and hit his patented bulldog before tagging in Callous.
2:52-6:06 The Skyscrapers dominated the suddenly weak Road Warrior Animal. The assault from both men ended with a double chokeslam. Callous continued to overpower the seemingly small Animal, even as going far enough to give Animal a hip toss onto Animal's partner, Hawk. The monster soon tagged Spivey in again.
6:06-14:42 Spivey gave Animal a gorilla press slam, but accidentally sent him flying into LOD's corner, and Hawk went crazy on Spivey. He eventually knocked the big man off of his feet with a huge clothesline, before attempting to get him up for the Doomsday Device. After failing to get him up on his shoulders, Animal was given a backbreaking Spinebuster, but the pin went interrupted by Hawk with a shoulder block from the top rope. Hawk bounced off of the ropes, looking for a polish hammer but ran into the hand of Callous. "Mean" Mark hit a large Chokeslam but the pinfall went interrupted again, this time by Animal. Spivey gave Animal a double axe handle to the back of Animal before setting up for the Double Powerbomb. They got Animal in the air, but Hawk tripped Callous up and he accidentally gave his partner, Spivey a spear-like move, and Animal successfully got Spivey onto his shoulders before the Doomsday Device. Animal and Hawk dived on top of Spivey and got the 3-count just before Callous broke it up.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
JCP Heavyweight Championship Qualifier #2: Matt Borne vs. Kevin Sullivan
00:00-5:39 Kevin Sullivan was purely evil in this match. The bout went just 5:39 and was really a squash match. Kev could have given Borne a concussion within the first ten seconds of the match, with a rough clothesline, which landed Borne onto his neck. Borne tried fighting back and tried to get in a crossbody but Sullivan countered it, hitting a powerslam. The match went on to feature Kev's signature Shoulderbreaker, which was soon combined into a tiger bomb. As Matt couragously kicked out, Kev grew angry and went for a chair and smashed it over Borne's fragile skull. The referee called for the bell and Borne advanced due to disqualification, ready to face Tommy Rich in the quarterfinals.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
JCP United States Championship Semi-Final #1: "Polish Power" Ivan Putski vs. Baron Von Raschke
00:00-3:32 A highly competitive match featuring two legendary athletes, the Baron (who was born in Omaha) and Ivan Putski. Ivan nearly finished the match in record timing, hitting the Polish Hammer during the first five seconds of the match, but Baron kicked out at 2. Ivan went into the bout with a lot of momentum. Baron soon got in control after hitting Putski in the ribs with a knee.
3:32-6:40 Baron worked on the ribs with some technical submissions, such as the abdominal stretch and eventually hit a backbreaker. The Baron soon locked in the Boston Crab.
6:40-9:05 The Baron remained with the Boston Crab locked in on the back of the defenseless Polish hero. After two minutes of groaning, the Baron let go and set up for his infamous Claw. He locked it in but Putski hit the Baron with a toe kick and went for a belly-to-back suplex but Baron gave Putski a headbutt and hit a modified spinning suplex (which ended with the suplex turned into a backbreaker) and went for the pinfall but the "Polish Power" kicked out. Putski eventually broke lose of the assault from Baron and Putski drilled Baron with several lefts and rights. With Baron in the corner, Putski stepped back and went for the Polish Hammer, but Baron ducked and Putski dived into an exposed turnbuckle. Baron locked in the bearhug and Putski started wearing away.
9:05-14:24 Putski grew more powerful and reversed Baron's bearhug with a bearhug of his own and slammed Baron in a northern lights suplex before missing a Polish Hammer and Baron locked in the Claw and hit a chokeslam-like move and the referee counted to three.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
JCP Heavyweight Championship Qualifier #3: Stan Hansen vs. Owen Hart
00:00-3:40 Owen blew his ass off in the early moments of the bout with high-flying moves such as the enziguri, the Diamond Dust and the bulldog. Owen used several snap jabs and even used a hammerlock but was eventually elbowed in the head by Hansen, before being whipped off of the ropes into a boot, but Owen countered and tried for a crucifix roll-up but Hansen countered it into a Samoan Drop. Owen dived from an elbow drop and hit an elbow drop of his own.
3:40-8:11 Owen went running everywhere, even up to the top rope, which led to a moonsault, but Hansen caught him and hit a running powerslam. Hansen continuously drove the lightweight backwards into the turnbuckle before hitting a cutter from the top. Hansen started working at the arms of Owen, hitting them with knees and forearms before finally locking in an STF and squeezed tightly at Owen's neck, locking Hansen's arm around Owen's head with a Dragon clutch hold, rather than a sleeper variation. With Hansen tearing at the neck, Owen eventually reached the turnbuckle. Hansen stomped away at Owen before getting ready in a powerbomb position.
8:11-12:56 Owen escaped the powerbomb attempt by getting onto the top rope and hit a moonsault into a DDT and got a pinfall but it was only a 2-count. Hansen powered Owen into a Lariat and got the 3-count.
