No way in hell Yankee pinstripes get on ANY figure I have to design! BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Well Ringside is based out of NY... Exclusive? ? That'd make for a good exclusive. I'd buy it.

Make the Yankees attire Mattel, or I will add this on the list of complaints I have(including your terrible distribution in Canada, Australia, and every country besides the US or the UK).

Most of you need to chill out. First off, Bill said he wouldn't design the figure, so then another designer can do just that. Also, did you think for a minute Bill is trolling you all? It's quite possible he is. The man communicates with this forum, gives you updates on figures, new headscans and such, and in return, he makes a little witty comment and you all attack him? Thats pretty sad.
Mattel goes out of their way to communicate here, answer questions, give detailed answers, and yet the forum treats them like crap. Sad.
Mattel listens for the most part.. be happy they do.

Punk hasn't worn the Cubs attire since probably 2010 at Night of Champions (I could be wrong). It's in that awkward position of being old enough to be kinda old school but not old enough to warrant a Flashback...yet.
I think there might be some copyright issues with it, since it basically directly uses the Cubs logo/colors but with a star in the center. Jakks managed to squeeze it by in the Unmatched Fury line, though, so who knows. I'd love to see it.

NOC 2010 was his Elite 11 attire, he's had the Cub's attire a little later, around the time SES broke up

That specific Cubs attire is off limits due to the logos being too simialr to the third party Chicago Cubs logo. Not a decision I like since I would have loved to include it on a figure a LONG time ago but one I have to abide by.
Putting a design element that is most asscoaited with New York on a figure based on a performer who is so strongly associated with Chicago does not make any sense to me. I would not put a Cubs hat on a Paul Heyman figure, or the Stars and Stripes on a Bret Hart figure if they wore it on TV either.

What if RSC chimed in and wanted it as an exclusive? Would that be ok?

To me, I just find it refreshing when a figure's gear doesn't have black as a base color. That's the most appealing thing about Punk's Hitman and Yankees gear; they're different & they'd stand out in a collection IMO.

CM Punk just wore pinstripes to try and rile up the Boston crowd. Wouldn't be surprised if the next time they are in New York CM Punk wears something Red Sox themed. It's like what John Cena used to do when he would wear a sports jersey of a rival of whatever town/city they were in to try and get heat.
If they do a Night of Champions PPV themed set, then it would make sense to do it since it would be accurate to what he wore, but other than that, I don't see a need for an attire that was only worn once.
I'm a Yankees fan and I would buy it, but I don't think it's THAT important of an attire that we NEED a figure of it unless, like I said, they do a PPV line of Night of Champions.

I really want an elite of this one. Basic wouldn't do it justice. As I've said before, Punk per set in elites.

But you'll put Boots on Jimmy Snuka and a White Tanktop on Slaughter? lesson learned i suppose.
