It is in 4 or 5 weeks so not necessarily.

Interesting timing. Certainly gets him to Survivor Series. I think a Rock and Cena vs Brock and Punk tag match at survivor Series is sort of a layup at this point but I'm not sure how they are going to get to that story if Cena is off TV for 6 plus weeks. Hopefully he recovers quickly though, as I know in baseball that this type of surgery can really vary depending on the guy.

Huh, well just noticed the next ppv isnt for 5 weeks. Thats strange for wwe, usually 2-3 weeks apart. :X
Should be good time to build up feuds.

They should have held off on releasing the news and have him "injured" via kimura lock leading to Cena/Rock vs Punk/Brock

They should have held off on releasing the news and have him "injured" via kimura lock leading to Cena/Rock vs Punk/Brock I would have liked to see them use it to help further the story as well. Be it the kimura or the anaconda vice, doesn't matter, but I would have liked to see them use it.

this wont help their partnership with the cancer charity with him off i guess I don't see this affecting the Susan G Komen foundation at all. all of the commentators had a pink pin on and pink ties on

He will still appear most likely in an arm cast, do promos, maybe get attacked by Punk. Just wont be wrestling.
Not sure he'd go through Hell in a Cell right after healing from injury but its not like a Cell match is that dangerous anymore.

I'm sure he won't be off TV just not wrestling. Wonder what they'll do now, was really looking forward to Hell in a Cell match with Punk and Cena.

WWE.com have changed it to 2-3 weeks now.
He won't miss any Raw's, and he'll definitely make HIAC.

Cena won't let this surgery make him miss any Raw shows leading up to the ppv I bet.
Remember, this is a guy in 2008 who went in for neck surgery and came back 2 months later.
Cena is Superman!!
