Last week I received mail from Nielsen about what shows my household watches. Needless to say I had to put over Impact as my number one show. It has been a quality wrestling show and gets me excited to watch every week like WWE used to.
In case you receive mail from Nielsen, open it.. They included 5 dollars in the envelope as incentive.
And if this doesn't deserve its own thread feel free to lock it.. But I was always curious how it worked and it was completely random.

I think its a shame we judge tv ratings by what like a few thousand people watch.

I wish I could be one of the people they track so that just me watching my favorite shows counted for a LOT more people. Maybe somethings I watch would get a second season more often..  As for the OP that is great; I didn't know they sent money with the survey. |

Wow, I don't know if I've ever known anyone who gets Nielsen mail. What exactly is a 'Nielsen box?' Or do the statistics just stream from your regular cable box?
