^...it wouldn't have made sense though - he wasn't allowed to fight in the ring.
It seems a lot of people aren't so keen on the movie because of him going back to the streets and the "downer" it seemed after Rocky III and IV. It's actually a lot more in spirit with the first movie than those two though.

I think Rocky V deserves a little more respect, the movie has very touching scenes :

The thing about the fight scene is its a streetfight, it's not a boxing match its a straight up brawl. A streetfight is never gonna look as polished as a prize fight, nor should it
