Fear the Walking dead is REALLY good right now. I've been on and off this entire series, but it has been pretty good since they've introduced the ranch.

It still kinda bugs me that almost everyone has perfect hair in the TWD universe.
I know it's nitpicky, but like, where the hell is Alicia getting highlights in the middle of a zombie apocalypse?

That's one of those aspects for which we have to "mark out", so to speak. My daughter recently started watching TWD from the start. She noticed that Norman Reedus put on some muscle mass over the next couple of seasons. She asked how that would be possible if he and the group were constantly foraging for food and necessities. Of course, the answer is it really wouldn't be possible.

It's just one of those things that's constantly poking around in my head.

Can we have more FTWD instead of the regular show please?
What a turn around this season.

Can we have more FTWD instead of the regular show please? What a turn around this season. What did you think about that finale? One of the finest episodes of either show, and probably the best for Fear. I love how willing they are to just off characters left-and-right. I think not being tied to the comics helps. I'm pretty pissed that Gimple is going to be taking over as showrunner next season.

I do, but just curious what others think about it. Yeah, he's dead. Dude fell out of a helicopter, while critically wounded... and the actor was signed on for the next Avatar movie. If he were revealed to be alive, that would be 10x as awful as The Dumpster Incident.

What is everyone's thoughts on the supposed crossover between TWD and Fear next year? The easiest assumption would be for them to introduce a "Fear" character over to the flagship program with the time difference. But there could be some kind of prologue for an established TWD character, perhaps a fan favorite?
PS: I apologies if I'm jumping the gun a bit. Just very intrigued by this revelation.

From what I've seen, it's going to be a TWD character appearing on FTWD. I'm intrigued, but it really depends on the character. Maybe they just have someone like T-Dog appear. I doubt it'd be a major character.

During the finale of Fear, they mentioned a specific locale that I recognized as being related to a TWD character, one that is/was beloved. Don't know if the next season of Fear will lead there or not, but it could lead to much speculation. The problem is it would likely be a cameo for 1 episode, perhaps two. They would have to keep it brief to maintain the integrity of the character's back story.

With Gimple saying he wants to introduce "larger than life comic book characters", it really makes me scared that it's just gonna go back to being TWD: West.

Perhaps the crossover is the Hispanic family that left the group in the early part of season one. I have always wondered if they made it somewhere.

Never thought they'd find a way to squeeze Weird Al into the Walking Dead universe.
I was wrong.

"Hey guys, I know we're supposed to have a limited amount of ammo and all, but let's spend three solid minutes shooting at the windows - even though we're gonna blow it up anyways!"
Pretty meh premiere, imo. Simon shoving Gregory down the stairs was the highlight for me.

An okay episode, but I had thought about something. They kept saying that it’s “not about him (Rick)” throughout the whole episode. And when Michonne was talking to Carl she told him that it’s “His show now”. Am I wrong for thinking maybe that’s the writers’ way of saying that TWD doesn’t need Rick in order to continue? The old man Rick sequence could’ve just been a dream about what he was fighting for and not a flash forward. I mean no Rick = no show pretty much for a lot of people but it just got me thinking, would they really kill him off here? Or was it suppose to come off that way on purpose to throw us off and Rick really will be here until the show is done?

I think Old Rick was definitely a dream, and red-eyed Rick hints at what will happen at the end of the season. I don't think Rick dies, but I definitely could see Michonne or Carl. Or Judith. It has to be someone in Rick's immediate family, imo. If they kill off Rick, I can see a lot of people giving up on the show. How many people would care about watching Carl?

Timeline wise, how long do you think it’s been since Negan killed Glenn and Abraham to the current episode of season eight?

Do you think it’s possible for them to drag all out war, out for an entire season? Or do ya think Negan will find himself behind some bars at the mid-season finale?

Has there been any indication of when they may look to move the series into an end-game? I realize it's a cash-cow, but all the best shows seem to know when to call it quits rather than overstaying their welcome, and I feel like TWD has to be approaching that point. 8 season is a lot of television (and I certainly don't expect it to end after this season.) I know, of my entire group of friends, I'm the only one still watching. Everyone else quit.
