if you disagree well ur entitled to ur opinions but i wont care ;D
idk about everyone else but im sick and tired of seeing the TRU's walmarts targets etc.. their selves filled with Basics, Rumblers, and Flex Force figures....
i believe the Majority of buyers love the Elites, obviously, bc there always or mostly gone in the stores..
My Theory would be this or suggestion which ever way you wanna take it..
with the demand of the elites being so high its clear to see that the other figure lines are suffering and in turn wasting money, which in turn is making the elite sets take more time to come out bc the budget could only allow this kind of productivity.. Ergo if you get rid of the least 2 favorite lines which statisticly Flex Force and Rumblers. you'll be able to put more money into the elites and increase the productivity..
i personally would like to see all 3 of those sets gone bc once you have the elite figures and se how much more they can move, buying those other sets are a waste of your money..
i propose that Mattel Design team 86's the Basic's , Flex Force, and the Rumblers, so they can sell more elites and have the option money wise, to do Legends or/and elite 2-paCKS and over all i think they would profit more

Absolutely not gonna happen. Rumblers and Flex Force do move at a good enough rate, otherwise they wouldn't have each lasted 1+ years. Besides, I'm pretty sure those sets come out at an even slower rate than Elites, which have been EXACTLY what Mattel said they'd be (one every two months). So, I don't see what the issue is.

The idea is absolute nonsense, predicated on the OP having no idea how money works.
Budget for elite figures is dictated by projected profit from elite figures. Same for Flexforce. Same for Rumblers. They spend on each line according to what they can make back.
A simplified example: As it stands, based on the Toys R Us website prices, a Flexforce figure is $13.99. A Rumblers two-pack is $8.99. A basic is $11.99. An elite is $16.99. In total, that's a few cents short of $52. If they're putting the basics, Flexforce and Rumblers budget into your Elites, they're going to have to charge $52 for an Elite figure to maintain profitability.
Do you really think more people would buy a $52 single Super-Elite figure than buy the current lines? They wouldn't. It would be an incredibly niche product. Not only would they be killing the revenue streams from the basics, Flexforce and Rumblers, they'd be pricing Elites so high that most people wouldn't buy them anymore either. And the whole thing would be dead because of your terrible idea. You'd have mismanaged the entire WWE line to failure. Congratulations.
This is just complete drivel, based entirely on personal fantasy. I like Elites and Legends best too, but I'm not going to just go into cloud cuckoo land to pretend that it would be good business to make only them. Mattel would be doing Legends and Legends 2-packs right now if there was enough of a market for them. It would be utterly stupid to kill lines that do sell (like basics, Flexforce and Rumblers) just to produce more lines that are already proven failures.
Oh, and if basics, Flexforce and Rumblers weren't making money, they wouldn't still be making them.

Don't you think Mattel likes a little product diversity on the pegs? Appeal to a wider range of people?

alright jabroni's relax, it was more along the lines of fantasy speaking, i get all your points, i get upset that we wait so long for these great figures and idk about yous guys TRU's targets etc. but theyve been jacking up prices elites now are $20. i mean i havent brought a figure from those places in almost 5 months bc im sick of waiting so i get my stuff from Ringside, and on there a normal elites ive seen for 50+ for a SINGLE guy.
at that point it wouldnt hurt to Ax the Flex force and bring back the Legends at the same rate theyre doing now...
i know tho im not alone when i say ENOUGH of the Orton's cenas, HHH lol... the only guys that deserve that are Rey ( bc his outfits are infinent) CM Punk, Macho Man..
what does the mean that the felx force wast their "Minnie"
