"TNA wrestler Rob Van Dam recently appeared on Joe McDonnell Uncensored and confirmed that his TNA contract expires in March 2013. RVD talked about his future: "I walked away from every wrestling company I've ever worked for, except for one. When I first started out, the first territory I did in the summer of '91 was USWA. It was the Jarretts'. So when my contract runs out with TNA, who even knows if Jeff is one of the bosses anymore, it's so confusing. But if he is and it's their decision, if they say, 'Thanks, we enjoyed it' and we walk off, it'll be like the only two times in my career (that's happened). Every other time meaning WWE twice, ECW, WCW, All Japan, everywhere – I've always been like, 'All right I've had enough.' I felt like I knew when it was time to go. I never had any regrets." "Right now this could actually be my last gig, I don't know. When my deal's up (in March), I don't even know what I want. People are asking, 'Oh, are you going to WWE?' I honestly don't know what I want to happen. I'm more of go with the flow, let's see what happens. Anyway, it's possible that when it's up that I could maybe not even sign another full-time deal, who knows. It's possible, which would make this my last full-time gig.""

I think it would benefit RVD for the better if he did leave after TNA and went heel (after a few months) with Paul Heyman in WWE and turned into a 2 time WWE champion!

All I care is RVD becomes a several time world champion. I almost wish he would stay with TNA and get a long reign as champion. I think if I was them I'd have him win the tag team titles with Samoa Joe and lead down to a BFG mega fight in a year or 2 for the world title.

I don't really feel TNA is utilizing RVD to his fullest. So maybe he should move on? Maybe a short run in WWE will help him with one last big payday before he hangs em up for good.

Am I the only person that seriously just doesn't give a sh*t about RVD anymore? I've been watching the guy since 97 and now, more than ever in his career, he is just out there going through the motions. He got like a 4 month title reign in 2010 and it was dreadful. I don't mind if he stays in TNA because he can work the TV Title scene or better yet, the X-Division, but he can't talk, his matches are insanely repetitive, and I don't want to see him anywhere near the World Title unless he is putting over a Champion.
I get it, he's R V D, and I used to be a massive fan, but I don't think he has been interesting at all in TNA. I certainly don't want to see him show up in WWE where he would seemingly take the place of so many young guys that need elevated right now. WWE should be about moving forward. LMFAO at the idea of putting the WWE Title on him at this point. Had it not been for the One Night Stand concept, RVD wouldn't have even been WWE Champion in 2006.
I just don't care about him. I respect the hell out of him, appreciate everything he has done, but it's 2012 and he isn't a guy that makes me tune in to watch pro wrestling anymore.

Really hope he stays in TNA. Really cool and down to earth guy who definitely has a couple years left in him. Would love to see him take on Jeff one more time, as well as Austin Aries and goddamn it TNA, book a feud between Van Dam and Angle.

I'm not sure if it's TNA or Rob Van Dam himself, but his TNA run has been rather lack luster, both in story and match quality. It just seems like he is going on routine, or running on auto pilot.

I think if they brought in an expeirenced wrestler and helped people get that push it would be great. I'm not saying the world title scene from the start but he needs to lighten up WWEs IC title because it isn't getting what it used to. As for hanging them up for good soon, I think hell no! That's like saying Chuck Norris should lose his first fight soon or something like that. He can't. RVD is like half if a chuck Norris, and I think it'd be a sad day whenever pro wrestling loses him.

He needs to do the gimmick where he's in it for the money and every wants him on their show. I always loved his Mr. Monday Night gimmick

i dont think that going back to the wwe would do rvd any good.
as previously stated, if it werent for the ecw deal, RVD was never gonna be wwe champ. coming back after a tna run IMO would only give wwe more reason to misuse him.

Yes your right, jeff did alot of drugs, BUT they gave him all 3 chances. They normally fire after the second. Example: Evan Bourne. They haven't brought him back yet and his 60 days were over a while ago, so that leads me to believe they have either sent him to FCW or just fired him completely. Anyway point is, If Jeff came back WWE would treat him well because he treated them well. I mean come on, not to many people stay with a company for 10 plus years and not win the big one. Jeff never won a wrestlemania, one the WWE title once but only for a month, a 2 time world champion but neither reign lasted long. WWE owes Jeff something. Same goes for RVD. He helped WWE by making the money in the bank. Making the storylines that more crazier, RVD has helped WWE in making it look like they bought out ECW (they did) but none of the superstars cared. He helped John Cenacle become a better wrestler. WWE would bring RVD back with open arms.

All i know is he got caught on his 2nd offense whenever him and Kofi lost the Tag titles

He missed a ton of shows on his first TNA run. Has had several trouble, including the Victory Road incident. Seriously, if someone has to owe something, it's Jeff, not WWE and not even TNA.
