just got my copy in the mail, time to give up my life

In the last few weeks my expectations had shot right up after all the info started to drop. Yet still, this game has blown all my expectations out the window. This feels several leaps beyond the benchmark of GTAIV, heck it like a different generation to me.

All the obvious improvements aren't even worth mentioning. It's the little things like the character movements, the small graphical details, the random dialogue that is blowing my mind. This game feels like its from the future it's just so advanced.

Also, Michael is an absolute boss. I expected to like him based on his background alone, but everything about him is great. The voice acting in general deserves major props.

Honestly I think R* finally came up with the perfect blend of the realism of IV and the fun of SA.

Another thing I love is the Stranger/Freak missions carried over and tweaked from RDR.

Same here. Had to check the voice actor to make sure.

Anyways, picked up the game this morning. I didn't wan't to bother with the midnight release, plus I was tired. So after about 2-3 hours I can definitely say I enjoy it much more than GTAIV. The game always had this sluggish feel to me which I don't feel too much this time around.

The game is awesome, having a blast but me the cops don't mess around this time.

You do anything wrong and they get a sight on you, you're down.

Bought this at Toys R US for my ps3 (havent used my ps3 much, so this was great) and got Max Payne 3 for Xbox360 for free (only copy of this game for either system they had left) and a 10 dollar gift card to TRU. Had to haggle for the gift card. Apparently its only in TRU's online add and not in your newspaper one. They said someone had come in and bought the game earlier and asked about this so they knew I wasnt lying. Had to wait around while the 2 guys there got on the computer and figured it out but got it. And the icing on the cake was when I opened my ps3 copy there was a code for the blimp vehicle that was only supposed to be for people who preordered this game.

Felt a tad sick once I saw the game had been delivered to the house, so I left early from work and spent some quality time with the game. Only did about 8 or 9 missions, and had quite a bit of fun driving and bike riding around town with Franklin and Michael. They've done a phenomenal job with the physics of every different vehicle. Haven't spent too much time with Chop yet, and I still can't log into the ridiculous app you need to help "train" the dog. I'll play a little in the next couple of days, but won't get a chance to really sink my teeth into it again until the weekend. Looking forward to trying a triathalon tomorrow.

Taking a break from it to watch Sons of Anarchy, but I love it so far. I'm only just beginning and I can tell its gonna get insane haha
