Damn I really need this game. Is it worth the 60 bucks, or should I just try to get it when the price reduces? It's definitely worth the money |

Almost don't want the main story to end because I'm enjoying it so much.
Still thinking about picking GTA IV and Red Dead Redemption up just to play through again while I still have the itch.

Should be interesting to see what they'll do with the single player DLC, when it gets released. Wonder if it will be like Lost and the Damned and the Ballad of Gay Tony, where they do the stories of different characters that end up being part of the main story, or if they'll have additions to the stories of Michael, Franklin and Trevor.

I was thinking this earlier today also since they have three different characters already to choose from. I know they could choose to continue one of the three protagonists story after the main story finishes. Both Trevor and Franklin could easily have new problems arise past the main story, but they probably wouldn't go that route, since the ending mission is a choice mission. My guess is they'll do like they did in IV and have the expansion games, happen during the same time of the main game. If not for that I would say they could have Trevor's story prior to the main game, as he builds Trevor Phillips Enterprises in northern San Andreas. |

Online servers are crapat the moment, don't know why I have to play a tutorial I can't play to play online instead of just going online.

Of course the servers are down when I try to check out the online game. I've read that they ordered a lot of new servers to try to compensate, so hopefully they'll have them running soon.

Tried to access the online game, but the servers were down. Looked at my original single-player save and noticed the price of Ammu-Nation stock was $0.00. Probably the same for all the stuff on BAWDAQ markets. I spent time last night with all 3 characters each buying up $1 million+ in stocks, so I'm anxious to see what the online aspect does to that market.

Don't be too surprised if they don't come out with any single player DLC at all. From what I understand, they're only going to be focusing on GTA: Online from here on out. |

Garage vehicle save glitch is in full force. Another tricked out truck disappeared from Trevor's garage.
I'm pissed. This is unacceptable.

Well let's see.
My PS3 crashed about three times during the update.
Finally was able to download the update.
...And of course the servers are just overflowing.

Has anyone had an issue with the 'Mary Ann - Exercising Demons' missions? I've done the Franklin and Michael portions of them, then when it came time for Trevor, I did what normally happens, and beat her in a bike race, but when I got to the end, nothing happened, nothing appeared onscreen, and Mary Ann just sat there on her bike - but the mission wasn't finished, even though I'd won and even though nothing was happening, no icons on the map, nothing. I loaded it up again, same thing - beat her, and she just sat there. I did this 2 more times and gave up. Has anyone encountered anything like this before? Thanks It's a common glitch. Try restarting your game completely. I have it too and have just put off the mission until they patch it. Thanks, I just re-tried if after a day and it worked fine. Still powering through until the end. |

Got stuck at "Launching Session". I'm assuming it might be a day or two before online is running better. I was expecting server issues since I imagine everyone with the game is trying the same thing

wow. I expected some issues with the servers but rockstar really dropped the ball with online today, at least for PS3. I can't stay mad at them though...
on a related note, jesus christ is the character creation one of the most ridiculous and nonsensical things I've ever seen. I tried to make myself and ended up giving up. Made a hot chick instead as the female models seem to be better overall, and it turns out she's like 6ft tall. I would really appreciate an update where they just gave us a conventional Skyrim style character creator. What they have now is a train wreck, and I normally LOVE character creations.
