Stimulus coming this week. Patch 1.05 dropped today, that's said to alleviate the last of the issues and all $500K will be in a lump sum too.

Excellent news. I've been going better on this now that I'm with my brother online, but there's so much potential being wasted with this overall, I can see why do many few players are in sessions now and why some are just giving up.

I imagine with Ghosts coming out today that you will see quite a drop in the user base. However, I'd rather play this for 1000 hours than touch another CoD game.

So does anyone think Ghosts touched $800M in its first 24 hours? About 3 weeks ago I read an article that said someone with Activision was saying he hoped Rockstar wasn't too comfortable with the records because CoD was certainly going to break them all again.

It's hard to see Ghosts NOT setting records. I mean it's coming out on what, five systems? Going by reviews it would seem the fatigue is setting in, not to mention the reported framerate problems of the PS4 version and the fact that they were only able to do 720p on XB1. The game was clearly basically thrown together for the next generation consoles without any care and yet it will be the best selling next generation game. How people want to basically play the same game with an ancient engine is beyond me.

Yeah, I don't see COD beating GTA in sales.
Edit: Just looked it up and GTA beat COD by $300,000. This news pleases me greatly. I'd love to see what Activision has to say about being way off on their prediction.

I suppose it's possible they did a couple of smaller deposits throughout the day and I got home after the 2nd one, but I think it was one lump sum.
Actually ran across someone with manners last night. Went to see a vehicle at the nearest custom shop and someone else was already in there so I couldn't enter. Another guy was already there outside the shop and we kinda eyed each other for a few seconds before I left to hit a different shop. He didn't gun me down when I was leaving. Felt nice, as I've been killed a few times in similar situations.

Decided to get the 200K apartment for the bigger garage & a Comet (which I've fully upgraded) with my stimulus money. Quite happy with it, I'm still not really feeling like there's much of an incentive to play, but messing around with friends is fun.

Wish there was a way for cheaper cars. The Infernus is $440K so it was one or the other and I wanted the apartment. |

I think I played online like twice. I'm not saying it sucks or anything because It could just be me being lazy. I just beat the story for the second time today and my second play through ended up taking me over a couple of weeks. I did enjoy this game but it didn't do as much for me as the other GTAs did.
