I think I'm done with the online, forcing the money and ranking up crap on everyone is annoying, I'm not a high enough level to be able to buy any good weapons or get good spawns as in the attack chopper and such. But me and my friends just want to be able to go around in private matches and screw around and do our thing, but we can't get good weapons and choppers and stuff spawned in, and we really don't wanna grind away at missions and crap. We like ot just hop on for an hour or so, screw around and go onto a different game. I really don't see why the good weapons and spawns can't be opened in a private match, it's rockstar shoving the crap down our throats. I just feel like they're going to be trying to push the microtransactions a little too hard too. Honestly, me and my friends have way more fun in online on GTA IV, just being away from this leveling up/forced mmo atmosphere type bullcrap. Probably trading this in towards my Arkham Origins purchase, and just sticking with GTA IV if i want to mess around online What? Rockstar's not shoving anything down our throats. Not everybody wants to just screw around, I like ranking up and making money. Without that GTA Online wouldn't be as fun.

Not gonna lie, I'm at like 50% in the story, single player, I'm a huge GTA fan, played them all and loved them all. I just don't like this game. I tried Online and got bored after 3 hours. It's just not doing it for me. Which sucks. Do you not have any friends? That's the only way to truly enjoy Online in my opinion.

Without the missions and being able to level up, this game would get really stale really fast. At least for me it would.

I looked up videos on Youtube (which I have watched the dock be purchased by Michael and Frank), and every time I go to the spot where the realty sign is supposed to be, nothing is there. I just started the process of doing the Merryweather Heist, hopefully that will help. Pretty sure I remember reading that it becomes available after the Merryweather heist. Ah ok. Thanks for the help kind sir. What is this money issue everyone is talking about?

And I am not saying it should be removed, I'm saying you should be able to do private session without it if you so choose. I'll never get through enough missions to reach the high ranks, especially because none of my friends like doing them, and I can't stand playing them with randoms, because most of the people you come across are bungholes lol

They are delaying the cash payout until they fix all of the bugs. So, we're never getting paid then? I thought that as soon as I read the IGN article as well. "Rockstar delaying stimulus until all bugs fixed." And I uttered out loud, "So we're never getting it." There is always gonna be someone who says that the slightest little thing bothered them and zOMG A BUGGGGGGG!!!!

I feel like when I play this game I am playing a giant beta. I really wish they would released a beta before the actual game so we wouldn't have near as many problems as we did/do.

Just had the best shootout I've ever experienced. Jumped on the back of a train and rode all around Los Santos taking on the law. I ended up shooting down probably around 50 choppers before jumping off the train just before starting the loop again.
Also, is the Sonar Collections Dock's income meant to go back to zero after a while? I've completed both the nuclear waste and submarine parts missions but I get no income. I don't get called up to do any missions there either.

I'm enjoying GTA Online, but now I have an apartment & decently upgraded car I'm not really motivated to keep playing. It's good for messing around with friends, but I have zero interest in levelling up/playing the online missions. It's weird.

I'm level 81 right now and so far there have been maybe 2-3 decent missions. Most are just padded with filler such as long drives, running from the cops after you the do objective. I've honestly had the most fun with my friend just going around in helicopter's collecting bounties/crates. The online is alright, but if there was any other new decent online game out right now, I'd be playing that instead.

Yeah I am giving up on the online. In fact I am going to go ahead and trade this in and wait for the XBO launch. I got to about 90% done in the story mode, and that is good enough for me. I like what they were trying to do with the online, but it obviously wasn't ready for prime time, and doesn't look like it will be for a while.

I'm still fine with online. It really is an experience that you have to create for yourself. That experience is maximized by playing with friends and such. No matter how many heists and such were in the game, that fact would remain the same imo. Once they implement the heists and content creators, online's going to be better than ever. I'm still hanging in there.

I'm mostly having fun with the online game and am waiting for add-ons/improvements. I've gotten kicked from several sessions, though. The message shows that it’s by other players, but I’m not convinced that’s the case. If that’s the case every time, then there are some seriously touchy players out there. One time it was when I was hunting down a bounty. I had no interaction with any players during that session, but when I got close to the area where the bounty and another player were, I got the boot. Another time was right after spending over an hour in a couple of group death matches (winning neither one), and was on my way to Ammu Nation. Another was after getting killed a few times, then defending myself and getting out of the area. Outside of bounties, I don’t target other players, stay away from most of the mayhem on the boards, and have gotten several $1,000 rewards for being a good player, so I think there’s still some sort of glitches/issues with the game.
Still slowly stacking money, mostly from vehicle sales (to the custom shops and for Simeon) and bounty hunting, doing a few missions here and there and finally moved up to lvl 33 and have close to 400K saved. Was amazed to see someone ranked at lvl 134 the other day, and several other players in the 80+ range. I’ve put in over 60 hours in the online game, so I’m scared to think how long these guys are active every day.

I did some looking today and apparently the most prosperous crew in the world at the moment are 32 members strong and are worth about 134,000,000,000 bucks.

I ended up making to level 100 the other night. Now just to help my friend get there and I think I'm done with the game until at least so updates are made and more missions are made.
