I had a chance today to get both hogan and warrior loose, but I passed because the guy wanted $100 for both. I felt it was steep even tho they were In great condition. was this a good deal or did I do the right thing?

They're not too valuable at all.

I bought a loose hogan for eight bucks, but you should have no problem getting them for as little as 15-20 each.

pay $100 total if boxed, then that's ok deal, That would be a good deal, IMO, if they were MIB. $100 for both loose is WAAAY too high! Even if he was asking half that price, you could probably find them cheaper.

They just talk gibberish now do, bu t can be useful to scare the cats or something Do they all talk funny by now?

Do they all talk funny by now? It depends on how much the cord has been pulled. When the cords get stretched due to overuse, that's when the voice starts to sound funny. I've heard some that are still pretty much perfect.

Mine have been pulled quite often then; they sound like they're screaming insult on the bottom of a waterpool But I don't mind, the figure look nice. TheHogan is one of the best conversation pice I have in my wrestling figure collection - I have him put on disply often on my DVD shelf.

Pull the string but hold onto it. You can slow it down a little so that they do not sound like chipmunks.

I still have mine from when I was a kid. And I believe if its MOMC and still working then pay big money but if its loose no more than $40 total.

I picked up both about 6 months ago including postage for less than £15. Too many things at the moment are over priced and sit on eBay for months!

My Warrior sounds like he's swallowed a ton of helium before cutting promos. He's been mint in box for 20 years now, never opened, never played with, and very rarely if ever had the string pulled. My grandma kept him for 20 years. He was given to me when she fell ill and my grandpa needed to get rid of a lot of their non-essential possessions to move to a much smaller house.
