So I'm sitting here wondering who might be the final figure in Elite 20 and given the time frame, Tensai pops into my head as a good possibility. Makes sense, until I realize something: His Basic figure doesn't even have a release date yet!
I didn't see any news on him at RSF, did his figure get canned because of lack of TV time?

I don't know. They recently made a figure of Yoshi Tatsu. Have you seen him on TV lately?

I hope he's not cancelled, first time in the line figures are the only thing I look forward to in the never-ending barrage of Randy Orton/Miz/Mark Henry/John Cena/Big Show/Rey Mysterio that they've been shoving our way.

Probably be in series 28. Maybe Cesaro's figure release got moved up when he won the US title and they switched that with Tensai.

I thought basic Tensai is moved to a battle pack. Mattel will try to pack him with a popular wrestler. Wasn't that the official word fro MDT?

Tensai wouldn't be cancelled for a lack of TV time. He's been on TV just about every week.

Well, I hope Mattel hurries up and releases him, before WWE releases him. I hope he doesn't end up on my frustration list like Johnny Ace and Tyler Reks. I have said it before, Mattel takes too long to produce figures sometimes. Outside of poor distribution, this is one of my biggest gripes with Mattel. Instead of placing Tensai in and upcoming Series, we keep getting loads on many of the same repeated names over and over again. Tensai is not a guy that the WWE is going to keep around much longer, so I wouldn't be surprised if his figure gets scrapped. Because the way Mattel is going, his figure will be months down the road and Tensai doesn't have that long in the WWE, sadly.

Maybe they're holding out for a Flashback A-Train figure in X-Factor gear.
Kidding...

He is a respected veteran of the locker room and from all accounts, they really like having him there.
