What would you say to the guy who did this? That one is pretty creative, what the heck is that toy? Someone not familiar with wrestling can get fooled. That's a Jakks BCA Droz. |

i don't hate scalpers. wish it wasn't so common, but i don't hate them. switching on the other hand ... for shame!

I hate switching! I went to Kmart last night and to my surprise the had Kevin Nash.Inside the package was a JAKKS Diesel with the intercontinental title!

switching is stealing. NEVER acceptable.
Everything is else is fine, annoying or not, im not against flipping hot items, or marking them up due to supply and demand. i just wont buy it. if price is too high, it wont sell. see e19 preorder.

^^Def. Agree with u ... at least for scalping, its legit that they purchased the figure... how u gonna stop someone from purchssing multiple figures? It gets annoying when u cant find something u want but that's just life in general...

I have absolutely no problem what so ever with "scalpers", however, I do have a problem with people that are buying figures, switching it at home for another one, and then bringing it back to the shop to get a refund or such. What these people are actually doing is stealing, and that is still an illegal thing to do.

I'll echo most of what has been said in terms of scalping. Buy whatever you feel like buying, and get as much as you can for it. As far as switching...that's simply stealing, and is pretty reprehensible.

I've got a rule when it comes to scalping.
(gonna use Nash as an example) If you're lucky enough to find a set of 4 Nash's as some people have, and you wanna "help some board members" aka, sell them to board members at an inflated price because you're a nice, kind, generous and helping person, thats fine. But my rule is to buy 3 and leave one so if someone comes in the store after you, theres atleast 1 there for them.
as for the swtiches, tbh some of them are so incredibly stupid.
If people know they can get away with putting a crappy figure like TTL Droz in a sin cara package and get away with it, then its the person who's giving the refund 's fault.
I mean if you went out for the day left all the windows and doors wide open and got robbed, who would you blame?
not inspecting a product before issuing a refund is inviting people to take the piss.... and they are.
