Even though the Big Books were mailed out this week, nothing in there is valid until this Sunday.
The big deal on WWE figures is that the PPV figures (Elite and Basic) are buy 2, get 1 free. ALSO, you get the 20-0 Undertaker when you spend at least $30.
So... buy 2 PPV Elite, get 1 free, plus the 20-0 Taker PLUS you have enough vaid UPCs from the PPV Elites to send away for a COO Triple H.
Of course the challenge will be finding a TRU that has enough stock to make this deal worth while. Right now I could get 3 Elite Cenas and the Taker, but is that worth it?
What's your bottom line on this deal? What's the worst combination of figures you would buy just to get the deal?
I would probably take any 3 series 1 PPV Elites, but I wouldn't want any doubles. I also don't think those are shipping anymore, so Cena is probably the only one available.
As far as series 2, I would probably buy any 3, even doubling up on one if I had to. I like the Miz figure for his kickpads boots mold (those are hard to come by in Elites). I'd take 3 Punks no problem. I wouldn't take 3 Big Shows, probably not even two.
It's a good deal if you can make the math work, but I wish all Elites were BTGO and Elite 17 was there (although that series doesn't work for COO Triple H).

So regular Elites don't count for the promotion? What if I just buy 3 Takers, will one end up free?

I think the sale is only for the BOPPV Series 1. I know the current sale (B1G1HO) doesn't apply to the WM28 Elites.
I'll probably buy 2 Takers and get a third one free, or maybe buy E16 Orton.

20-0 Taker is NOT part of the sale, it rings up as a big book promo, not even wwe..so unless a manager overrides the register, it will not come up as part of the sale

I will probably never take advantage of the big book sale because I am much rather wanting to pre order the newer figures from RSC next Friday on my pay day. Even with Toys R Us offering a free Undertaker, I'd much rather order elite 19, pick up AJ, Eve, and Alicia Fox, RSCE SCSA, and maybe Primo and Epico all before X Mas.

To get Taker free starting Sunday (I think that's the day it said in the Big Book) you need to spend $30 before tax on Mattel wwe product.

But you could buy 2 takers and get on free cause of the $30 promotion but I would suggest buying 2 boppv elites to get a 3rd boppv elite free and a free taker since that would be over $30 dollars. |

Hypothetically, If I wanted to start a collection (and I only collected the main guys and never kept more than like 10-12 figures)...I'd buy Cena, Bryan, Punk, Big Show, Miz and HBK (2 of which would be free)...ring up in 2 separate orders.. then you get 2 Undertakers. Use the UPC's to mail in for HHH, trade the 2nd Undertaker for whoever you want (i'm sure you could turn that easily into a trade for 2-3 easy to come buy elites such as Del Rio, Orton, Sheamus, Kofi). Thus, for the price of 4 elites ($60)...you would have a collection of all elite: (1) John Cena (2) CM Punk (3) Big Show (4) The Miz (5) Daniel Bryan (6) Undertaker (7) HBK (i'd probably trade this for current guys) (8) COO HHH (9) Ricardo Rodrigeuz (i'd probably trade this...could easily get you 2-3 elites of whoever you want) (10) 2nd Undertaker (easily could net you 2-3 easy to find guys) (11) Michael Cole parts to trade (could easily fetch you whoever you wanted) Thus, giving you an entire up to date roster of elite WWE figures. Now that is incredible/cool! If you really wanted to be sneaky/technically not break any rules... you could go to a different TRU and return/exchange the HBK and 2nd Undertaker for 2 figures you'd rather have. Although if you kept them and traded them, you'd probably get a higher yield. |

Last year when they had the promotion, i got 4 rocks. I bought 2, got 2 free. 1 because of BUY 2 GET ONE FREE and 1 because of SPEND OVER 30 AND GET ONE FREE. They should honor the same thing this year.

Assuming that my TRU had fully stocked WM28 Elites and E17:
- Buy any 2 WM28 Elites (Miz and Show for example)
- Get's E17 figure (Ryder for example) as the free figure from "B2G1 Free" deal
- Get's Undertaker free for $30+ purchase
- Sends in UPC's and gets a Triple H
- Buys remaining 2 WM28 Figures (Punk and HBK)
- Builds Ricardo
- Gets another free figure from E17 (Say Mankind)
- Gets another 'Taker free with this $30+ purchase as well
- Sends in for another Triple H.
Haul
- 4 WM28 Figures
- Ricardo BAF
- 2 E17 Figures
- 2 Undertakers
- 2 COO Triple H's
TOTAL: 11 Elite Figures
Math
- 4 WM28 figures @ $20.99
- 2x $5 Payments for COO Triple H
- 2x $0.43 (or however much stamps cost) to cover shipping UPC's for HHH
Sub-Total: $94.96
Then add 7% Tax (That's the tax percent in FL, it may be different in other places)
Tax: $6.65
Total: $101.61
Now if you divide the $101.61 by the 11 figures you got, the average price per figure is only $9.24
