- Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team def. BJ Whitmer & Rhet Titus via pinfall
. Finish to the match arrived with Shelton Benjamin hitting the Paydirt on BJ Whitmer to pick up the victory. [/li][li] Jay Lethal def. Rhino via pinfall. The finish arrived with Jay Lethal jumping over a Gore attempt from Rhino, instead hitting the man beast with the Lethal Injection to score the three count. [/li][li] Prince Nana def. Robert D Evans via pinfall. A surprise debut of Prince Nana's latest hired mercenary, Brian Cage cost Evans this short but amusing encounter. A devastating lariat took RD out allowing Nana to get the pinfall. [/li][li] Michael Elgin def. Roderick Strong via pinfall. Truth Martini, the man who said he wasn't going to take side, did just that by trying to help Roderick Strong win the match. Elgin was still able to fight against the odds and delivered the Elgin Bomb on Roderick Strong to pick up the victory. [/li][li] Mike Bennett def. Jerry Lynn via pinfall. With Maria by his side, Bennett was able to cheat his way to victory, getting some insane heat from the crowd for ruining Jerry Lynn's retirement match. After a handful of tights, Bennett and Maria escaped the area, allowing the crowd to start a "Please don't retire" and "You've still got it" chant towards Jerry Lynn. [/li][li] SCUM def. The Briscoe's, & C&C via pinfall to retain the ROH World Tag Team Championships. The finish to the match arrived with Jimmy Jacobs hitting the snap DDT on Cedric Alexander, which Steve Corino quickly followed up with a diving lariat to pick up the victory. Following the match, The Briscoe's tried to attack SCUM, but they quickly escaped from the ring, laughing at the fact they avoided the Briscoe's yet again. [/li][li] Adam Cole def. Matt Hardy via pinfall. Adam Cole was able to counter the Twist of Fate in to the Florida Key to pick up the surprising victory against Matt Hardy. After the bell, Cole tried to follow the Code of Honor but Matt Hardy quicked Cole in the shin that had been worked on during the match, and quickly hit the Twist of Fate, leaving Cole laying in the ring. [/li][li] American Wolves def. Kyle O'Reilly & Bobby Fish via submission. The American Wolves reunite successfully with a double heel hook on Bobby Fish. After the bell, O'Reilly tried to get involved again, but received duel super kicks for his trouble. [/li][li] Kevin Steen def. El Generico in Ladder Warfare to retain the ROH World Championship. With two ladders placed in the middle of the ring, and a table right next to them, it was clear something was about to happen. Generico and Steen were on either ladder, reaching for the belt when Steen suddenly sucker punched Generico with the low blow, and quickly followed it up with the Package Piledriver off the ladder through the table. A motionless Generico was seen too by the ring crew as Steen mockingly climbed the ladder slowly, making it look like he was using up all of his energy before finally grabbing the belt. December 22nd 2012 | ROH TV
- Ring of Honor match maker, Nigel McGuiness is already in the ring. Nigel talks about how at Final Battle last week, because of the devastating Package Piledriver from the ladder through a table, El Generico has not been medically cleared to wrestle, and likely won't be for a while. Nigel says while this is terrible news, teh show must go on. He says that this show is about the future of Ring of Honor, and because of that, tonight's main event will be a rematch from the Survival of the Fittest tournament from a few months ago as Tadarius Thomas will take on ROH TV Champion, Adam Cole in a proving ground match.
- The Briscoe's def. The Bravado Brothers via pinfall.
These two teams are no strangers to each other, and even though The Bravado's have improved greatly since returning from a tour of Pro Wrestling NOAH, they still were not able to put the Briscoe's away and get the victory. The Briscoe's eventually put Harlem Bravado away with the springboard Doomsday Device, Jay hooking the leg to get the three count. [/li][li]Before the next match gets under way, Prince Nana cuts a promo in the ring talking about how he doesn't normally admit to his mistakes, but in recent months he has made a few. He says he paid washed up losers like Rhino to be his hired mercenaries when he should have done what he did last week at Final Battle. Bringing in some new blood, like he did with "The Real Deal" Brian Cage. Nana says he doesn't need an Embassy, he now all his time, power and money will be focused on making Brian Cage the best there ever was. [/li][li]Brian Cage w/ Prince Nana def. Grizzly Redwood via pinfall. His debut match with the company, and what a great showing for Brian Cage. Cage threw Grizzly Redwood around the ring for a few minutes before finally putting him away with the Weapon X. [/li][li]A video plays reminding everyone to order the replay of Final Battle, so they can see the amazing World Championship ladder war match with Kevin Steen and El Generico. [/li][li]A video plays, showing Matt Hardy talking about his loss to Adam Cole at Final Battle. Hardy says it's a fluke that Cole was able to pin him last week, but who walked away from the match standing and who was left unconscious in the middle of the ring? Hardy says he isn't done with Ring of Honor, and just like every other company he has wrestled in, he'll show the world why he is Matt f'n Hardy. [/li][li]Tadarius Thomas def. ROH Television Champion, Adam Cole via pinfall in a Proving Ground match. Adam Cole is coming in to this match with what some people might say is an upset victory over WWE Alumni, Matt Hardy at Final Battle. Cole was still selling the hurt leg from that match, and it's what ultimately cost him the match. Tadarius Thomas continued to work his unique Brazilian Capoeira style, hitting Cole with unorthodox kicks, from out of no where positions. Cole began gaining momentum, getting back in to the match but the finish eventually arrived with Cole attempting his straight jacket german suplex only for Thomas to fall to the ground, kick Cole in the shin with one of his boots, causing Cole to fall down on to Thomas' knee on the other leg. Cole staggered back up to his feet, but was caught off guard with a spin kick to the back of the head, which Thomas followed up with the school boy to score the upset victory over the TV Champion. Tadarius Thomas celebrates, as it's announced he has earned a Television Championship match. [/li][li]Before the show comes to an end, Kevin Kelly announces over the announce table that next week, ROH Match Maker, Nigel McGuinness will announce Kevin Steen's next challenger to teh ROH World Championship.[/li][/ul]

All looking good already Hammers. This board needs more Indy. Missed out on quite a storylines/angles as I haven't been watching. Final Battle seemed good. Wonder where you'll go from there. The TV show looked a little weak, but I guess its how thats supposed to be. The monthly PPV's make ROH seem more like a national promotion. Good luck and keep this up.

PLEASE stick with this Chris. You may be the most underrated writer on the board and when you get your mind into things, you make for great storytelling. I look forward to see what you can do to make ROH a real threat. Also, Steen for World Champion for 10 years straight.

December 29th 2012 | ROH TV
- Shelton Benjamin def. BJ Whitmer via pinfall.
ROH TV gets under way with two rival tag teams going at it in singles action as Shelton Benjamin of WGTT took on BJ Whitmer of Whitmer & Titus. Both teams have been exchanging victories against each other in recent weeks, with the most recent being at Final Battle when Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team defeated Whitmer & Titus again. Benjamin, and Whitmer had a fun back n forth exchange for several minutes before Shelton eventually stole the victory with a school boy, as well as holding on to the tights for extra leverage. [/li][li]The cameras show a graphic, while Kevin Kelly talks about how ROH Match Maker, Nigel McGuinness will be announcing who Kevin Steen will be defending the ROH World Championship against at the iPPV, New Years Collision. [/li][li]Jay Lethal def. Mike Bennett via disquallification. Both men are doing really well in Ring of Honor at the moment, with Mike Bennett just defeating Jerry Lynn in his retirement match at Final Battle, while Jay Lethal because of winning "Survival of the Fittest" 2012, has a ROH World Championship match when ever he wants, only when Kevin Steen has lost the belt. Maria was in Bennett's corner as usual, and several times during the match, she interrupted on Mike's behalf, causing a distraction. Lethal would eventually overcome this, and hit the Lethal Injection, only for Maria to drag the referee out of the ring during the pin fall attempt. The referee had no choice but to call for the bell, but this didn't annoy Bennett who quickly went on the attack on Lethal. Bennett hit Lethal with the Box Office Smash before leaving with Maria. [/li][li]The cameras turn to the back where Prince Nana is standing by with Veda Scott. Before the interview can get under way, Rhino appears and confronts Nana on calling him a washed up loser. Nana attempts to suck up to Rhino at first, but Brian Cage suddenly attacks Rhino from behind before sending him crashing in to the lockers behind them. Nana quickly changes his tune, verbally attacking Rhino and calling his man, Brian Cage the future of Ring of Honor. [/li][li]Jimmy Jacobs def. Davey Richards via pinfall. One half of the ROH World Tag Team Champions, Jimmy Jacobs took on one half of the newly reformed American Wolves tag team, Davey Richards with both men's tag team partners in their corners. A fantastic back n forth match that was given plenty of tag to excite the crowd. The finish to the match eventually arrived with Bobby Fish & Kyle O'Reilly hitting the ringside arena and attacking Eddie Edwards. During the commotion, with the referee trying to stop the madness going on outside, Steve Corino slid in to the ring with a tag title and hit Davey Richards across the head with it. Corino slid out of the ring as Jacobs hooked the leg to get the three count. Jacobs and Corino looked like they were about to join in on the attack, but they were chased off by The Briscoe's who hit the ring with chairs in hand. [/li][li]When Ring of Honor TV returns from a commercial break, Nigel McGuinness is already standing in the ring. He calls out the World Champion, Kevin Steen so he can tell him to his face, who he'll be defending the ROH World Championship against, at ROH New Years Collision. Steen makes his way down to the ring alone, Kevin Kelly made mention that SCUM are likely still being chased out of the arena by the Briscoe's. Once inside the ring, Nigel was seemingly going to get straight to the point, but Kevin Steen decided to interrupt and run Nigel down. Steen claimed that Jim Cornette was thankfully no longer allowed, but for whatever reason, Nigel McGuinness has decided to continue his insane mission of getting the ROH Championship of his shoulders, and claims it is because Nigel is jealous because he can no longer get it done in the ring. Nigel simply grins and tells Steen he's never been more wrong about anything in his life. Nigel says it is true that Steen has ran through the ROH roster, defeating anyone and everyone that was thrown his way to get the belt. Nigel says this led Jim Cornette on a mission to go outside of ROH to bring challengers in, but still, Kevin Steen has defeated them. Nigel says that the man he got for Steen this month however, has never been defeated by Kevin Steen and promises he never will. Steen interrupts yet again and starts yelling at Nigel to hurry up and tell him who he's facing. Suddenly, the lights go out in the arena, and when they come back on, Super Dragon is standing in Kevin Steen's way, and the two men instantly go nose to nose. The cameras fade to black as the show comes to an end. [/li][/ul]

Great match to kick off ROH TV with Shelton Benjamin stealing the victory from BJ Whitmer. Guess the feud between WGTT and Whitmer/Rhet isn't over, which is fine with me. Good match with Jay Lethal and Mike Bennett, the distraction from Maria worked out perfectly if you're looking to expand this into a program heading into New Years Collision. Solid win for Jimmy Jacobs over Davey Richards. From the looks of the aftermath, I would hope that a sweet Four Way match is scheduled for some point in the future. Or just S.C.U.M./Wolves, which I would be fine with as well. Super Dragon! Super Dragon! Super Dragon! Damn, what an ending. Steen/Dragon is going to be a fantastic ROH World Championship match at New Years Collision. Overall, a great show.

Good decision on a match between Shelton and Whitmer. I really enjoy Shelton's work so good choice on him picking up the win. Graphic for Nigel to make the match later tonight. Bennett and Lethal match ending in DQ because of Maria is ultra realistic. I really like Bennett so glad to see you sort of putting him over. I don't know much about Ring of Honor only seeing it a few times but from what I do know Prince Nana seems just like how you portrayed him and Rhino being sneak attacked is crazy good for Cage, also giving him some momentum. Corino assisting in a win for his partner seems like something that would actually happen. Briscoes cleaning the ring and scaring everyone off is cool because I really enjoy the Briscoes mic work. Steen and Nigel going back in forth, in incredible detail I may add, is awesome. Steen's opponent being announced as Super Dragon is AMAZING. Being a tag team in PWG and then coming to be opponents in ROH is cool and I would like to see Dragon win! Hammers, you are honestly underrated. You are a great writer and I could see this diary going a long way if you can keep this up! You got a reader and replier in me.

Solid opening contest. Benjamin using some leverage isn't all that bad and I am glad you kicked off the program with a decent contest. McGuinness, I wonder who he announces as Steen's opponent. Another good match between Bennett/Lethal and this is what ROH is about. Some good wrestling with the added pest of Maria. Good job writing this match; very clear. Rhino/Brian Cage feud brewing. Don't know MUCH of Cage; let's see if you can get him over in my mind. Holy moly...what an exciting main event. You've got so much good talent that had a part in that match; I wonder where you go from here. SUPER DRAGON~! What a twist and that should be an explosive pay-off.
WELL written show Hammers; keep it up.

January 5th 2013 | ROH TV
- ROH World Champion, Kevin Steen def. Cedric Alexander via pinfall in a proving ground match. The rookie member of C&C was on his own tonight for unknown reasons, but that reason became clear when during the match, the split screen showed ROH World Tag Team Champions, Scum attacking Caprice Coleman in the locker room. Cedric looked good during the match, but ultimately the World Champion was too much for him to handle, and a Package Piledriver was all she wrote. Following the match, Kevin Steen grabbed a microphone and told everyone that he wasn't afraid of Super Dragon's light tricks or by Nigel McGuinness' claims that he can not defeat Super Dragon. Steen proceeds to pull a Super Dragon mask out of a mag, and places it on Cedric Alexander before delivering yet another Package Piledriver.
- A video is playing showing #1 contender to the TV Championship, Tadarius Thomas talking to the man, TV Champion, Adam Cole defeated at Final Battle, Matt Hardy. It's unclear what the men talked about but they're seen shaking hands as the video fades to black.
- Charlie Haas def. Rhino via pinfall. Shelton Benjamin was at ringside for this one, in what resembled 2003 Smackdown television. Rhino out powered Haas for a majority of the match, with Haas attempting to hook the leg of Rhino, and play the ground game. Brian Cage along with Prince Nana eventually made their way to ringside where the referee leaves the ring to confront them. This allows Shelton Benjamin to slide in to the ring and hit a super kick on Rhino, who stumbles back in to a German Suplex from Charlie Haas. The ref slides back in to make the pin. Following the match, Cage & Nana enter the ring. Nana starts provoking Rhino, calling him a loser, only for the man beast to grab him. Before he can do anything, he is attacked by Brian Cage who picks Rhino up with surprising ease, and slams him down with a spine buster.
- We turn to the ROH Event Centre where Kevin Kelly talks about the confirmed matches for New Years Collision. He hypes up Kevin Steen defending the ROH World Championship against another man hand picked outside of the company, Super Dragon. Kelly also mentions that just announced by ROH Match Maker, Nigel McGuinness. "Man Beast" Rhino will take on the man that made his debut at Final Battle assisting Prince Nana. Brian Cage.
- Michael Elgin vs Eddie Edwards ended in a no contest. A big time main event, for ROH TV this week with two fan favourites within the company going at it. A very good back n forth match, that had near falls from both men. Near the end of the match, Eddie Edwards dived of the ropes, seemingly looking for a hurricarana, only for Elgin to catch him. Elgin rotated a few times before hitting the Elgin Bomb. At this point, Roderick Strong, along with Kyle O'Reilly, and Bobby Fish hit the ring, and attacked both men. The referee was forced to ring the bell, and the match was thrown out. Davey Richards hit the ring, and the American Wolves along with Michael Elgin were able to fight off O'Reilly, Fish, & Strong.

- Impressive squash by Steen; defiantly shows how much momentum he has heading into his match against Super Dragon - I liked Steen's post-match promo, good mind games by both men. - Keep the title on Cole! - I liked the Smackdown reference. - Nice to see a feud start between Rhino and Brian Cage. - Decent main event. Looks as if we will have a three-man tag in the near future. - Give Elgin a push! - Overall, a good show.

BREAKING NEWS; TITLE VS TITLE
- It has just been announced that at the February 10th Chikara show "While the Dawn is Breaking" that Chikara Grand Champion, Eddie Kingston will face ROH World Champion, Kevin Steen in a title vs title match. These two men have met in singles action twice in the last year, with Kevin Steen getting himself disqualified, and then stealing a victory to even the score. Kingston is livid that he hasn't pinned Steen yet is and willing to put it all on the line to become ROH World Champion.
Kingston has been made aware that there's a chance, Kevin Steen could lose the ROH World Championship before the scheduled Title vs Title match against Super Dragon on the upcoming ROH iPPV, to which Kingston replied "I have no problem kicking Super Dragon's ass either. One way or another, I will be the ROH World Champion"

ROH 01/05
- Good solid win for Steen here, I'm enjoying the build to his match with Super Dragon and I think it was a really unique way to take Steen's title reign. Steen's always had a bit of a thing for masks, so the post match moment played to that nicely. - Here's hoping you keep the strap on Adam Cole, the guy is gonna be a star. - What am I watching? ROH or SmackDown in... oh, you already made that joke. Haas going over was cool and it worked well building up the Cage / Rhino match that is coming up soon. Personally I see Cage going over there because you've obviously got big things planned for him. - Elgin against Edwards would be one hell of a ROH main event in real life. Going for the dusty finish keeps both men looking strong and builds up the ongoing feud. Is Strong working with O'Reilly & Fish or just going after Elgin? Either way it's got me wanting more so it did the job.
Very solid show, and the title vs. title announcement clearly means you have big plans for this diary, which means I'm expecting more shows Chris, don't let me down.
