I wanted to make this thread because I wanted to know, if WWE lost the rights to WCW and WCW was revived , what indy wrestler or what wrestler who's contract is to expire from WWE or TNA would you see going to this new company?

Tazz and Sabu along with Finley abd Sting
"all come true, just roll your eyes. believe"
Anyway I would also like to see Ric Flair perhaps as the US champ in the veins of Bret Hart.

No...just no.
WCW was Ric Flair, Sting, Lex Luger, Steiner Brothers, Road Warriors, Doom etc and all of those guys are either too old or way past their prime. Even if you went Nitro era WCW, Everyone but Mysterio and Jericho are either dead or retired. Im a huge WCW fan but it just needs to stay gone. The time passed for it 10-12 years ago.

Remember when WWE tried to revive ECW? Or look at all the times the ECW alumni tried it? It won't ever happen

Remember when WWE tried to revive ECW? Or look at all the times the ECW alumni tried it? It won't ever happen I actually thought the first few months of the ECW revival were pretty good. After Lashley became Champ things went down hill until Morrison got the Title but continued going down hill after Chavo jobbed to Kane. Originally they actually revive ECW but after a few months they started treating it like ECW like the current NXT and people didn't like that. When people watched the original ECW they wanted to see the old guys like Terry Funk and Abdullah the Butcher putting the new guys like RVD, Taz and Sabu over in extreme style wrestling. The WWECW fail by not using the extreme style of wrestling after a few months. And I don't mean every match needed to be hardcore because in the original ECW that wasn't the way it happened. And to the OP, yes there is a revival of WCW. It is call TNA/Impact Wrestling.

I'd rather a new company make a name for themselves and not try and live off the success of an old promotion.
TNA is the best bet for a WCW like promotion but sadly they will never be competition to Vince McMahon.

To be honest, they can't be real "competition" unless they air opposite a WWE show more than once a year. See, at least WSX was competition, albeit not very good competition, because you were forced to choose between them and the second half of ECW. I agree. I don't think it was nearly as bad as people make it out to be.

TNA needs to air Live on Mondays, get better ratings and begin to become the new "thing". WWE will take notice and try to make their product better, try to get the ratings back. And of course if they get really desperate, they can bring some "Attitude" back, which I would ing love!

Believe me I don't mean that in a bad way, I enjoy TNA for the most part. But when I see people like Bischoff, Hogan, his freakin' daughter & people a like on my screen, it's what comes to mind. For the record, Kurt joined TNA after he was released from WWE unceremoniously, he didn't willingly leave WWE like he'd have you believe. WWE have refused to even negotiate with him since then. Just stating the facts here, this is not a dig at TNA or Kurt, I like both.

I'll give them credit for trying but they really showed just how minor league they are when it comes to going up against the big leagues like the WWE.

Live on Thursdays is a good thing for them, they should just focus on their own product & not worry about competing with WWE because they are just no match for the big boys in the ratings.

I know that they tried to go live on Mondays, but that was what, two months after Hogan showed up? If they could give a try next year, the Monday after Lockdown, I would like to see if they do it better this time, going live on Thursday is great for them, but now that they actually have a direction, a roster that isn't filled with Hogan's buddies, I'd think they'd do much better on a trial run.
