lol so true. I was a big fan of Scott from 98-01, but its true he was a legit psycho that snaped at every little thing. He legit almost killed DDP in their well known backstage fight in 00 after Steiner did a shoot promo on him and his wife. Its been said it took about 5-6 guys to pull Steiner off of him, and DDP might have lost an eye had Steiner not been cutting his nails earlier in the day. yup......Terry Taylor said Steiner was terrifying that night.

So lets assume Jarrett stayed with the WWF and was to win the WWF Championship. When would you have booked it to happen? If I was booking the WWF in 1999 and someone said "you have to keep Jarrett on the roster and give him a world title at some point" then... When Batista got injured in January 2006. I'd have had Jarrett win the battle royal for the vacant title and lose it to Angle at the Rumble. I can't think of any time earlier than that that would have been anywhere near appropriate. Jarrett just wasn't a credible world title contender in big-time wrestling.

Definitely, no doubt in My mind. His JJ stuff was great the first 2 years and I really digged his NWA angle, I thought it rocked but it's a shame it didn't go over very well. I actually think the country singer persona had more charisma than the short hair/don't p!$$$ ME OFF persona.

It was a shame that Barry Windham, Ricky Morton and Robert Gibson were old and WAY past their prime at that point to have any kind of impact at all. Then we got the NEW Midnight Express with Bodacious Bart Gunn and Bombastic Bob Holly. Fun.

Why did they even bother?
Just like "New" Razor Ramon and Diesel. Guaranteed to fail.
Almost forgot about "New" Rockers with Marty Jannetty and Leif Cassidy. Joke.

Venues Atendances Booking team disputes debuts booking disputes with wrestlers wrestler disputes Kevin Dunns input and obsession with certain performers you really get an insight into the process that I hadnt got before. its all in that book.he has one for 98 too and they are doing that shoot.I watch their site like a HAWK for that one.Cornette on 98 will be gold.

I'll have to check it out. They have Kayfabe Commentaries on demand so you can watch online but Jim Cornette 1997 isn't one of the options...

He was a good mid-carder and great in the team with Owen, but he NEVER could have been a successful main eventer in the WWF during the Attitude Era.
