No. The Elite Ryder used to be valuable because it was his only elite but since he has the Elite 17 Elite the value has decreased. The only thing anyone who want the Miz for would be the U.S. Title and I am sure we will see another Shiny one soon... HBK is so valuable because well its HBK in DX attire everyone wants HBK....

It depends on how valuable they are to you. If you're never going to sell them, open them and enjoy them. If you're a MOC collector, keep them packaged.

Loose Mattels do a surprisingly great job at keeping their value.

The HBK is gonna hold value because of the DX factor. Almost every figure loses value when an updated version is released. For example: Dolph, D-bry, Zack Ry. etc. And on the flip side some figures increase in value because a certain hot accessory is included. A perfect example is elite 10 Kane which is sought after for the blue mib briefcase. Big Show from that same series is the only figure to carry those tag titles.

are they toys to you , or an investment?
i open everything, because they are toys... im not looking to turn around in a few years and sell something i love just to make a quick buck... i bought it for a reason.. if its worth money and hard to find, guess what... i have a hard to find toy, and it makes me feel good...

I open everything. If you are only buying figures because they may be sought after in the future then you are in the wrong hobby. For me I open everything I collect. If I really like something I'll buy another to keep moc, but that is normally as a safety measure in case the one I have displayed falls and breaks by some odd chance...then I have a replacement already. but like I said I open everything I collect and only buy what I like. If a guy didn't/doesn't impress me in the ring then I certainly don't need his standing on my display shelves.

I open everything personally I'm not looking to make a buck down the line. I collect because I love figures. The only wwe figure I have moc currently is the tru 20-0 undertaker elite because I like the way it looks in the package
