I wash my hands before opening and handling any new figures... I dip my hands in mud before opening my figures. |

For elites I open the right side carefully and pull up the plastic.
I don't know why i wanna keep the packages for a day or two after receiving them.
After that i try to destroy them LOL

I use a knife to slice the tape off in between the gaps. I then gently lift the tags out the box, then just slide them out the side so the box is still in good condition

If it's basic, I just rip the bubble off the carding, starting at a top corner. If it's elite, I cut the 2 pieces of tape on the slanted side and pop out the tabs. Then I slide the bubble out, take the figure out, slide the bubble back in and close the box back up, and finally throw it out. This man has the recipe. I do the same thing with elites. With basics, I start from the top left corner, and use my finger to try to make a clean rip from bubble to carding. Sometimes it's a little sloppy but otherwise it usually works just fine. |

Come to think of it, I always pull the basic bubble off from the upper right corner
Elites you kinda have to open from the right because that's where the flap is, but I'll take my small knife to the tape and just open it up, there are some Elite packages I want to save in case I ever feel like displaying the figure MOC again, so I try to take care when opening Elites

I open mine right there in the car like a velociraptor and leave a pile of figures in the passenger seat and a pile of boxes on the floor beneath it. Sometimes I wonder what people think seeing a grown man do this in the parking lot of a toy store...

For Basics, I use a razor blade and slice the bubble close to the card to get a clean separation. For Elites, I cut the tape on both sides, remove the figure, fold the box down flat and recycle the bubble insert. I keep all the Basic card backs and Elite boxes as I like the design and the little bios on the Elites.

Basics - Take a razor blade around the entire base of the bubble and keep the carding. Same thing I do with basics & 2 packs. Elite's I cut the tape on the right side, pull the tabs out and slide the tray out. I was keeping the Elite boxes with the trays out but I think I'm going to start recycling them. They look sweet but it's just way too much box to display. At least with basics & 2 packs I can stack them on top of each other. |

With an Elite I take my time to conserve the box for some reason. I usually throw it away so not sure why I'm so careful.
Basics - I rip open like the figure is suffocating and I'm the only one that can save their life.

For elites I slit the tape on the right side of the box(straight side) & carefully open the box to remove the contents. Once the figure is out, I put the empty plastic tray back in the box, close the box, & place the box on a display shelf. When I collected basics & 2packs I used a swiss army knife. I slid the blade between the plastic & carboard backing & gently pry up the plastic bubble so the carding could be kept.

Elites - I cut the tape on the left & right side of the package and just open the flaps pull out the fig and cut until i get the front and back side of the carding copy them and put the copy in a map throw the carding out

Basics, find the plastic seal at the back of the card, at the bottom, slide my keys or scissors under it, pull it back and tear the plastic off then take the bubble out
Elites, cut the tape, open box and pull the bubble out
