So after Elite 21 with Honky Tonk Man, What Flashbacks do you think we'll see and what Flashbacks do you want to see?
Me personally would love to see an 2002-2004 Brock Lesnar with the Undisputed WWE Championship. Aswell as an Blonde Trish one with the Women's Championship

As much as I'd love a WCW Giant, Hall, Goldberg, red LOD, my top three wants and requests from now on will be Hogan, Flair and Sting. Thinking of my "all" time (1989-2012) top 10 greats, these three are the only ones of my top 10 that do not have a Mattel figure. My personal favorite as a kid, Big Boss Man, has been made already, so I want the big three. I want Hogan, Flair and Sting!!

It wouldn't surprise me if they've already sculpted the Flair prototype, since he had signed with them before he jumped to TNA.
Of my own Flashbacks, here's my top 5:
1) Junkyard Dog
2) Wendi Richter (with Women's Championship)
3) Tito Santana (with the second version of the Intercontinental Championship)
4) Lita
5) JBL
With a possible BAF of Jimmy Hart down the line

Is it realistic for 2013? Maybe not. But I've been collecting Mattel's since the beginning, which has been years now. I'm starting to get a little restless waiting for these guys. We got Macho, Warrior, Andre, SCSA, Rock, Bret and some aspects of the Undertaker. I just want to complete my top 10 at least. I'd still collect well after they make these guys, but they are huge voids in my collection. *We just got a proper flashback HBK, which I personally deemed essential too. Hopefully we can get one of the big 3 remaining stars at some point this year. |

Flair was to be an EG when Mattel first took over the license. That Jan first when Mattel was releasing their first figures TRU.com had put everything for the year up for preorder for almost the whole day and there was an EG Flair listed as well as Piper, HHH, HBK, Jericho, M$M, Taker & Rock. And as we know all the rest did get released. My preorder was still active for about a month before TRU canceled it. So I bet if Flair hadn't signed with TNA when he did it would have been released

they never worked on Flair. They've stated this several times.
TRU messes up things all the time. They have Devon listed in Deluxe Impact series 9 for sale on their site right now.

I've seen all the Q&A's they've done here and on WWE during Raw. and try to stay up to sate on Matty forums and never seen them say they never worked on Flair. Even if they did or work on Flair they couldn't say they did. Mattel is always very tight lipped when it comes to unreleased items. (just look at their DC answers for years) I think they said in the past for legal reasons they can't talk about items until Mattel wamts them known. That"s why all the preorders TRU had listed that dau came down within a few hours or why sometimes RSC holds off on listing preorders until they get the OK from Mattel. And remember the sculpter who posted a bunch of the Jakks and Mattel heads/figures she sculpted for Jakks WWE and Mattel"s WWE & DC lines? She got in trouble with her bosses and removed all her work she posted online because of discloser issues As far as TRU goes every other EG they had listed did get released...so I'd believe he was in the works. |

Not under contract. I've said this many times before. Why does no one believe me? Note: Flair has NEVER signed a mechandise deal with Mattel as of today. Flair has NEVER been scanned for Mattel. AS of today he is not in our future figure plans. If plans change he will be. is the sculptor ur talking about the chick that worked on Jakks figures?? She didn't work on Mattels......and her profile and all her pics still work last time I checked |

Dean Malenko Corp Bossman A FB Mark Henry would be pretty sweet. And I was just looking at Eddie Guerrero last night thinking about how I want a better one (Austin torso, gold boots, smaller arms, regular skin tone, any color tights besides red or black!) I could see Rikishi and Sid possibly happening. My top two pipedreams are Ken Shamrock and Taz. Shamrock is a little more likely, but Taz is still off limits  At least I don't have to still listen to him on commentary. |

Again what else would they say? of course he's not under contract with them now, but he was when Mattel first got the license for the WWE. And yes she did work on Mattel's also there were plenty of sculpts for Mattel's DC lines that she worked on. And I think there was one or two WWE heads as well. I know she said she was working on Mattel's and that was when she got in trouble with her company. She said even though the photos were hers Mattel said they owned them (sculpt) and she was told to remove them even for figures that were already released(DC lines)

Lita and Trish are probably easy to do contractually, so I'm hoping we see them... But I'd guess that them being divas makes it tough. I'd be cool with a Trish basic in a Heritage line, and a Lita elite with a Womens title.
