Does anyone else find it to be totally ridiculous?
Now, my dislike of Vickie Guerrero on my screen every week aside, this whole angle where she is apparently so incompetent in her role of running RAW that Mr. McMahon has to help her with making PPV matches in front of the whole audience is just horrendous IMO.
Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if the way their (Guerrero and McMahon) conversations play out on TV are almost identical to those conversations between the WWE Creative Team...
'Dur, 3 days til the PPV, what matches shall we make?
'Ummmm, pffft, Ziggler vs. Cena?'
'Yeah!'
'No, we can do better than that.'
'Ummmm, pffft, Ladder match?'
'Yeah!'
'Oh wait! lolz Ladder matches are pointless unless there's something to grab!'
'Oh crapgood point... Oh I just remembered Ziggler has that briefcase.'
'Great. I forgot all about him being Mr Money in the Bank. That'll work, let's put the briefcase on the line, now a Ladder match isn't a nonsensical idea!'
'Phew. Good save. Great, now we've got 3 matches on the PPV card, we can make the rest up on the night!'
*Waits for 90,000 buys*
Honestly, the way Vickie Guerrero is presented, she comes across like a 10 year old making match-ups with his wrestling figures. How does someone so (in kayfabe at least) clueless get a job with so much power and authority?
Just horrible stuff. Don't wanna sound like a broken record or hate on the current product cause I enjoy it somewhat, but we never used to get crap like this. IMO the segments expose WWE writers as a bunch of clueless bastards.

I don't think this is made because Vickie is incompetent, but more because she is abusing her powers and Mr. McMahon is pretty much obligating her to do what the WWE Universe wants to see, or what is correct.
I was ok with it the first time though, but I hope they stop this.

It's very intellectually- disabled. I wish they would select a damn GM and keep them for awhile. And by awhile, I mean a few years, not a few months. I think Edge would be a perfect GM but I don't see that happening.

I was ok with it the first time though, but I hope they stop this. Then logic would suggest to simply fire her. Or not even hire her in the first place since she supposedly got the job because of a Cena/AJ relationship when she's clearly been involved with Ziggler for quite sometime now. But Logic and WWE have never really gone hand in hand.

Yeah i cant stand it all. The whole thing bothers me mainly because - as you rightly said - it seems so rushed and it was obvious for survivor series that it happened as well. Cole and lawler keep saying "mr mcmahon is here OMG - it must be important as he rarely shows up"
then its just to advise vickie on matches...annoying.

I like it, its putting Vicki over as the heel who's trying to protect her former client, but "trying" not to be biased because of that.
I think there's still something going on with Vicki and Ziggler, which will eventually come to light. Vince cant fire vicki on suspicion of something going on between them so he's just making her life awkward at the moment by doing these promos, until he has proof. I think the whole AJ, Vicki, Cena and Ziggler storylines will all tie together, with Vince eventually firing Vicki.

I see it more as Vince punishing Vickie by forcing her to make matches she doesn't want to make (such as putting Ziggler against guys like Sheamus and Cena or even putting herself vs A.J Lee)

If Vince REALLY wants to give the WWE Universe what it wants, he should put the power back in the hands of the people...

If Vince REALLY wants to give the WWE Universe what it wants, he should put the power back in the hands of the people... Speaking of incompetent authority figures... Seriously, (and I'm not one to harp on about the precious Attitude Era) back in the day a guy like Laurinaitis as GM would have gotten his ass kicked every week by the Stone Colds and Rocks of the WWE. Vince McMahon, Eric Bischoff, Mick Foley, all GMs who you'd have done well not to mess with. Laurinaitis? Total joke in every way imaginable. Couldn't even get a hold of the English language, let alone a weekly television show.

But, there was one worse person, Mike Adamle.
