I don't hate that Cena won, But i don't love it either. Same as Rock.
but I do like that it will lead to Rock putting Cena over at WM.
I enjoyed the show overall, the RR match itself was great.

Here's just a few reasons why the way things went down tonight is so horribly disappointing from a logistical, booking standpoint...
CM Punk has been built up to be a nearly unbeatable Champion, one way or another. By hook or crook, he gets the job done every single time. Seemingly the entire roster comes at him, and they lose. The Rock shows up, wrestles two matches in an entire year, and beats Punk. Not only does he beat Punk, he does so after being destroyed by the Shield. Even Ryback, WWE's full-time, full blown monster, couldn't come back after a brutal beatdown from the Shield. The Rock does it with ease.
Not only does this tarnish the credibility of Punk's reign, it completely spits in the face of the entire roster of opponents Punk has faced. WWE is essentially saying "no one from our current roster is good enough to do it, but The Rock can."
The situation tonight was perfect for a multitude of different scenarios that still wind up in the same destination that we all know WWE wants so badly. Either The Shield interferes and Vince strips Punk of the title, giving us an ACTUAL reason for an Elimination Chamber match next month, OR someone else interferes on Punk's behalf, Punk retains the title, and then goes on to Elimination Chamber.
The end goal here is obviously to get the title back on the golden boy, John Cena. What better way to do it than to have him FINALLY beat the guy that has been a thorn in his side for years, who, consequently, happens to be rounding the corner on a 500 day Championship reign? Punk/Rock/Cena literally has been writing itself for over a year. It's a huge match with huge implications and the PERFECT place for Punk to finally lose the title.
Not to mention the work leading up to it would have been stellar. Punk being constantly overshadowed and completely losing his cool over it, etc. The promo work would have been second to none.
Instead, the workhorse, the guy who deserves the main event more than anyone else in the company, serves as nothing more than a 14 month placeholder for the "big boys". It's ass backwards and completely uninspired.

Regardless of whether or not we knew that Rock was going to win, look at it this way:
Punk losing makes the entire roster, and this generation look terrible. No one has been able to beat Punk, and a guy who has wrestled maybe three matches in the last ten years comes back and beats him? Makes the entire roster look bad.
I knew Punk's reign couldn't last forever. But, they could have ended it in a much less predictable manner.

Enough already. RybackV1 you are no longer allowed to post in this thread. If you do, you are gone.
Anyone who argues with or even just mentions RybackV1, you will also be banned and deleted. If he does post on this thread again report it to me, do not respond to him. Again, do not mention him, do not respond to him, to not quote any of his posts prior or present.
Thanks JS

I cant be the only one who thought the Rumble match was passable, but thought the matches were great lol??
Maybe because i have been watching since 1991 i have spoiled with so many classic rumbles, that it gets harder to top for the WWE each time.

Enjoy what did happen and complain about something that didn't. There was no hints by WWE. It was just way to high expectations by you. All you talk about is no body jobbers that aren't WWE anymore like Shelton, Carlito, and Jomo, instead of the great one the rock? Hardly nobody jobbers. Don't fool yourself bro, they are jobbers.

A logical thing to do would've been have Punk get stripped tomorrow, then have a WWE title tournament at EC for #1contendership to face Cena at WM for the title which Rock wins, then Punk uses his rematch clause to put himself in the match, bam you have Cena/Punk/Rock. I think anything would be better than just having the same match at WM two years in a row. It seems to be the new WWE booking style. HBK/Taker twice in a row, then HHH/Taker twice in a row, now Rock/Cena twice in a row? Feels like they aren't trying, like they're on auto-pilot. Times like these, I really miss the nWo.

Don't fool yourself bro, they are jobbers. I see the members of WF are STILL yet to learn what a jobber is.

I enjoyed everything up until when Cena won. I really didn't like Cena winning the rumble, he could have gotten the main event another way.
I also hate that Rock won. Why is it that when Lesnar came back, he immediately lost his first match, and he's the guy who steamrolled over Hogan and Rock 5 months into his career, yet Rock remained undefeated in his current run?

I still say Cena/punk/rock still happens. I think Cena wins by pinning punk. Rock escapes having to job.

The rock is my favorite EVER and I rooted for punk tonight bc he deserves some damn credibility already but nope, same old sad story...enjoy cena as your champ people bc the story is played out now

Seeing Cena beat the Rock at Wrestlemania will kill me.
Please God no.
I wanted Lesnar to interfere and give Punk the win leading to Rock/Lesnar.

I'd rather see ryback get the payoff to end Punks reign at WM. Same crap as last year. WWE finally gives us new characters/stars and the main ppv's we get cena and an inactive wrestlers shoved down our throats. Punk's title reign was epic and shouldnt have ended at the hands of rock
