Very cool item. I like seeing the non-Hasbro WWF items from around this time, like the ice hockey table. It's neat Bobby Heenan got a featured spot next to some big names on the photos. He was probably the biggest name manager throughout his time. I bet Hasbro could have made Bobby as the only manager in the line and he wouldn't have been out of place.

by 91/92, Heenan wasn't managing much at all. By the end of 93, he was gone from the company. Even with Flair in 92, he was rarely managing, but moreso cheerleading from the announce table.
When Andre turned babyface in 91, Heenan faded to the background mostly for announcing & hosting Primetime

That's weird, but I remember seeing those around but with a different theme. Also good example of how times have changed. No way a game like that would ever get released now.

I remember having something like that when I was a kid, but mine wasn't wrestling. I can't remember for the life of me what theme mine was.

Thats cool, never seen that before, one thing I find strange the ebayer lists it as being german - but the entire box, and the item itself is all in English??

There was a huge boxed game that came out in 1997 that had a similar toy gun theme. I think it had circular foam pieces that shot at the cartoon wrestlers and they fell backwards, sort of like a circus game. It has a big cardboard set up with some plastic pieces. It seemed so stupid but as a kid I was always excited to see a cheap wrestling item and it was on clearance a lot.

I have one in my gym thats out of the box. I would consider selling it if any one is interested. still in good condition. the shooter still works. My dad found a lot of my old wrestling merchandise when he cleaned out the basement of my parents house.
now if only he had checked with me before throwing away the WWF table top hockey game and the pieces....ugh still makes me tear a bit.
