What's the fight, or fights, that you always wanted to see that we were never given? There are a number of huge dream fights that everyone is going to contribute so I'll leave them out for the sake of conversation. The fight I wanted, that I actually think the ball was dropped on and we were ed out of... Chuck Liddell vs. Dan Henderson. UFC Light Heavyweight Champion vs. PRIDE Light Heavyweight (middle, whatever) Champion. Dan came over as the double champion and he fought the UFC champions of the same division to unify the titles. I feel like the ball was dropped and we as fans were screwed because of the way it was handled. Instead of having Dan fight Chuck for both Titles, they rushed Rampage into the Liddell rematch and we all know what happened there. Jackson dispatched Chuck in the first and at UFC 75, four events later, Rampage fought Henderson to unify the titles. Now what the were they thinking? Give 'Page another fight. There were plenty of fights for him. Have Henderson vs. Liddell at UFC 71 instead of Chuck/'Page 2. There's still a great build and a great story that you can market to the moon. "Liddell is the long time UFC Champion with 4 straight defenses... Henderson is the PRIDE Champion who just brutally KO'ed the Axe Murderer." There's plenty to work with. After 'Page beat Chuck and it became Henderson vs. Jackson, what's there? They're friends but they fight hard and both want to be Champion? Boring. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed Jackson vs. Henderson, but I feel like the boat was missed on Liddell vs. Henderson. Would have been fireworks.

I wanted to see Randy Couture and Mark Coleman.
I know, I know, they DID fight. But Coleman was far past his prime and Randy was nearing his end. I would have loved to see those two go at it while they were both in their primes.

Some of these were supposed to happen outside the UFC
Andrei Arlovski vs Alistair Overeem-Was supposed to happen on New Years Eve 2009, but DREAM replaced Arlovski with Kazuyuki Fujita who ended up getting KOd in a minute by Alistair
Clay Guida vs Sean Sherk-Was supposed to happen on a UFC on Versus card buy Sherk pulled out with an injury
Fedor Emelianenko vs Josh Barnett-Was supposed to happen on an Affliction PPV, but Barnett failed a drug test and the PPV was cancelled
Takanori Gomi vs Josh Thomson-When Gomi was Pride LW champion from 2005-2007, Thomson was a top contender, but never got a title shot
