Can't say I'm wasn't expecting this. I honestly thought they took way too long to release. He does put on great matches, but he wasn't over. He was kept down on Superstars and NXT for a reason. Wasn't over, are you mad? Listen to this reaction: |

Wow, good thing you totally have payed good attention to the programming within the past 3-4 years Yeah, because Trent has been all over Raw and Smackdown, hasn't he? lol. Sucks that he got released, but you guys act like they released some top star. He was on Smackdown quite frequently in 2011 |

It sucks, I liked him a lot. But truth be told he hasn't done anything of value in a long time. Maybe someday he can come back, but for now maybe it's for the better.

Plus,that's just one match, one night that you used where maybe the crowd was a good one. How about any other night he was on? |

Alright, I'll give you that, but other than that night, have Trent Barreta gotten that reaction whenever he's on TV? If people were to say Alex Riley was being held down, I'll agree because he gets big reactions most of the times. My point was that one night a wrestler gets a big reaction does not mean he's over. He was over on one night. I also agree that he had a lot of talent, and I enjoyed the matches he had with Tyson Kidd on NXT, but he's not as over as some people put him out to be. |
