I was reading January 2013 edition of WWE Magazine and there is a section known as Alternate Realities. Kind of like a "what if" type of column. Jan 13 had a story about Lex Luger turning heel and aligning with Ted DiBiase to form Money Inc Int'l and Crush turning face adopting red, white, and blue face paint with an all American attitude to feud with Luger. I was inspired by this article, as I always thought a patriotic Crush would've been awesome. I created this in photoshop last night after reading the article. It's specifically for my simulation game in TEW2013 but I figured I would post it here.  This becomes....  This. What do you think? It's not perfect looking but I think it's pretty cool anyway. |

I love "what if'" scenarios. The idea for Crush would've been cool to see.

I think this thread could be interesting just to speculate on what would have happened if storylines would have worked out differently.
What if Hogan had never turned heel in WCW and the nWo never happened?
I bet WCW would never EVER been close to the WWF's ratings.

Hogan himself even admits that by late 1995 WCW's rating's reached a plateau. and while they were certainly higher than they were a few years earlier,they were not where they wanted them to be (i.e. higher than WWF on a consistant basis). so the question was to come up with something to bring the ratings and PPV buyrates to the next level. those discussions directly led to Bischoff looking to higher "big" WWF guys like Diesel, Razor, the Kid, Dibiase,etc. add in Bischoff's copying of a Japanese concept ( wrestlers from one federation leaving in groups to "take over" another promotion) and Hogan's wanting to do something different, and you get the nWo. take any of those parts out of the equation, and you don't get a dominant WCW. |

TEW2013 is pretty good but I always think Adam adds too much to each new release.
