10 years...10 years ago to this very day, I registered (IIRC) my old AOL e-mail address to become a member of this forum after lurking around during the later half of 2002 thanks to a friend from high school who introduced me to this place. 10,000+ thread visits, 6,666 posts (not counting this one), hundreds of debates, a handful of display name changes, and a couple of Classifieds transactions later, I have reached the tin anniversary of my first login to this site. I will admit, I have spent WAYYYYYY too much time here over the last decade; more time than anyone should...and have enjoyed every bit of it. In my time here, you guys and gals have me me happy, angry, laughing, in tears (of happiness, laughter sadness), you name it when talking about any and all topics throughout all the boards that make up this forum. More importantly, all of you have kept my passion for professional wrestling alive and strong.
As a way of celebrating it (if you want to call it that), I'd like to show my appreciation to every one of you who I may/may not have interacted by holding a raffle! The prize being given away, you ask?
This Spinner WWE Championship Replica Belt
One of you will be winning your very own WWE Championship title to do whatever the hell you want to do with it. Some notes on it:
- It is adult sized
- It is nowhere close to mint condition as it was used during the dying days of my old concrete "backyard" fed
- The strap is not in the best shape (folded, bubbled up, paint scuff marks)
- The "WWE CHAMPION" sideplate was replaced with another "MON NITE RAW" sideplate (done by me for my personal re-leathered replica)
- Around 10 jewels missing from my quick check
- A couple of the male snaps are a bit tarnished
- Blank nameplate that I had for it is missing (I have made a gold-spray-painted cardboard one as a placeholder; I can write the winner's name on it in the old spinner nameplate font if he/she would like)
The contest is open to anyone and everyone who is a member here. All you have to do is reply here with whatever you want (mind you, keep it clean), just as long as you type Enter in your message. *Somehow forgot to put this, but thankfully you guys haven't done it yet...but, please, only one entry per person*
This contest will be open for 10 days. You have until 11:59 PM EST on Thursday, January 31st to enter before I close it. I will select the winner by the traditional WF random pick-a-number-from-a-hat drawing (two caps; 1 holding numbers representing the page, the other representing the reply #), which I will record through my phone and post on my YouTube page at sometime on Saturday, February 2nd. The winner will be contacted by PM beforehand and will be announced on this thread if he/she chooses to.
I will be shipping through USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate during the following week with a tracking number. I will take care of the flat rate shipping costs.
*Note to any potential entrant outside of the US: There is a possibility of a delay in shipping and you having to pay a customs fee on your end; same situation happened the last time I shipped something outside the States. Please be aware of that if you decide to enter*
