I knew Brock was coming out all night until Vince was about to fire Heyman. I figured he'd be fired and come back atg a later date. So I won't lie I marked out hardcore when Lesnars music hit. Even more so when he F5d Vince.

Shield being on the take makes last night make even less sense. Why would Punk have them come out when it meant he automatically lost his title? But the ending to the show was really good. Paul trying to talk down Brock was gold. Maybe Heyman paid The Shield to attack at RR and Punk didn't have anything to do with it?

Heyman would have worked out having them on the take, without Punk knowing.

Paul trying to talk down Brock was gold. That's the point of the lights being out, you couldn't actually see them. But Cole yelling THE SHIELD THE SHIELD was intellectually- disabled. Loved the mob style beat down on Maddox.

Well but the whole premise of The Shield last night was that you couldn't see them. Punk and Heyman probably just thought they out smarted Vince.

Paul trying to talk down Brock was gold. Because Punk doesnt know that the Shield and Maddox were being paid. Heyman said "I Lie about everything" doesnt mean he didnt lie to Punk about them being involved

Punk, Lesnar, The Shield........Dangerous Alliance!!!! I like the group in theory, but Punk should be incredibly angry that they cost him his title last night.

Awesome and completely unexpected ending.
I still don't understand why Vince was giving Heyman a "performance review" though...in kayfabe, isn't he not really technically affiliated with the WWE? I mean, he's Punk/Lesnar's manager/promoter; I don't really understand how Vince had the authority to fire him to begin with.
Ah, well. Maybe I'm overthinking this. Overall, pretty good show...there were a few absolutely awful segments, but the good outweighed the bad.

Heyman sides with Lesnar instead of Punk for saving his job. I call it. I don't get it. Heyman will have Punk and Lesnar under his management. Lesnar and Punk can't work with each other and then Heyman sides with Lesnar. Or Heyman was just stringing Punk along the whole time and waiting for Lesnar to return.

Thank god they had Lesnar's appearance to fall back on, because this show was absolutely abysmal.
Much like Punk's pipebomb at the last Raw Roulette in Vegas, the show was awful and centered entirely around one moment. Tonight is the same.
Lesnar's return, at the very least, makes things interesting again. It's pretty clear that this is just planting the seeds for Lesnar/Triple H part 2, which, while I don't necessarily think is very exciting, I suppose it's something.
The most important thing is that tonight leaves us with a bunch of questions - most importantly what happens to Punk? What happens to the Shield? To Maddox? Ultimately, to Heyman? Things are getting convoluted and there's either going to be some really great payoff in the coming weeks, or it's going to turn into a total mess.
I also thoroughly enjoyed the Del Rio/Big Show segment. For two guys I don't particularly care about (though Del Rio is improving), they've done a hell of a job of making their feud actually mean something. The heat for Show tonight was unreal. Just a well planned, well thought out revenge segment that worked incredibly well and should serve as a huge launching point for Del Rio when he inevitably returns the favor.
Everything else tonight was disgustingly bad. A bunch of matches that served no purpose other than to let the golden boys redeem themselves after losing the Rumble match, and of course, Cena squashing Cody Rhodes for absolutely no reason at all. Another directionless attack from The Shield, random interference from Sheamus and Ryback. A lame promo from The Rock, senseless whining and cowardly tactics from Punk. Just all around bad, bad, bad.
Not to mention the dance off, diva's match, and singing competition, three of the absolute worst segments I've seen in the past decade.
It's like they were completely aware that Lesnar was the only thing that mattered so they just threw their hands in the air and said "screw it" to everything else.

Minus the comedy segments this was a great ing show. Lesnar, Heyman, Punk, Rock, Jericho, Ziggler, and The Shield are all on their A Game. Here's hoping Triple H realizes he can stop Lesnar and sicks Taker on him. I dont want Perfect Storm II.
