So I've been tinkering with this for about two hours now. I drew it in Illustrator, and it's suppose to represent The Godfather logo. It's for a blog that I plan on writing, but I'm thinking about scrapping this logo altogether and starting over. By the way, the title of the blog is "Rad World Entertainment."

Oof, hands are hard man. I really like the concept, and the colors are nice. If you can get the proportions on the fingers, especially the three there that are grouped together, I think it will look nice. Right now though, they're a bit off.

Also you might want to "thin" out the strings. They are a little thick and take away from the "R".

Tip #1. Delete Adobe Products. Tip #2. Unplug your computer. Tip #3. Throw it out of your window. Tip #4. Give me your blu-ray collection.
Please note this as a joke moderators as me and Parchandri are brother-in-laws.
In all seriousness.. I like the premise of the idea and the beginning workings of it. Since you are making a logo ( im not sure if you added the color as you went ) , but if not you should make it strictly black and white to begin so you can use it for branding/watermarking etc.
I think you should scrap the Entertainment type in favor of something different.
PS... which blog service are you going to be using? WordPress will remotely host you these days, and if you are really going the all official route you can point a spiffy domain for 8.99 the first year. Same with Tumblr.

I think you've captured the essence if the Godfather logo, but it needs work. Those strings need thinning out a lot as they look far too thick and take away from the actual text. Also, it looks like the strings aren't actually attached to the letters. I know this could be because you wanted the strings to look like they go behind, but it just looks like they don't connect. After thinning the strings, it'll look better when they're joined up.
Also, I feel as though the entire thing should be thinned. Looking at it now, it looks a bit too bulky. Could do with some trimming to make it look cleaner and not as blocky. And I would completely drop the word "Entertainment", it just kills the logo's atmosphere. Either get rid of it, or put it underneath horizontally. It isn't really necessary as a lot of logos don't feature the exact wording of the company/website it is for.
Otherwise, it's a good attempt, and with some work it could be good. Be sure to make multiple copies with different colour schemes if it's going to become a focus point on your blog. And save it as a PNG file without the background, too.
