This is gonna be the only HOF speech that will never be included on DVD release because of the rant he will go off on about WWE, wrestling and Vince McMahon!! haha
Nah, I doubt it... well... it is possible I suppose. Bruno with a live microphone at a WWE HOF event... could be interesting!

That's pretty cool, although I'd be way more excited if it were Owen Hart.

That's pretty cool, although I'd be way more excited if it were Owen Hart. Owen would be nice and all but never compare Owen to Bruno. One would be a after thought as nothing more then a good wrestler if he hadn't be tragically killed while the other is a legend that transcended the business and changed Wrestling forever. No disrespect to Owen but he is no where close to being in Bruno's league.

Just because he didn't get world titles it doesn't take anything away from his ability. A lot of the greatest wrestlers of all time (Hennig, Dynamite Kid, Dibiase, Bulldog, Owen etc) never won the big one. Bruno was great during his time, but if he'd come along in the 80s or 90s I highly doubt he could have been as successful. It's great that he's in the HOF and everything but Owen Hart was a much more exciting and talented wrestler.

Owen was almost always just a mid carder. I liked him but don't make him out to be more than he was. Bruno on the other hand carried the company for a decade and sold out MSG almost 200 times. Owen Hart was never a draw. As for Bruno this is great news. No one is more deserving.

Wrestling has nothing to do with the talent you have in the ring it has everything to do with how many asses you put into the seats. Bruno put asses in the seats for 20 years and still holds the record for most sell outs at The Garden. Bottom line you could be the most athletic performer and never sell a seat or you could be a punch and kick type of guy and sell out the world. Bruno above all else deserves to be there for this reason alone.

Would Steve Austin have been as huge of a star as he was if he was there in the 70s or 80s? I just think it's a tad ridiculous to judge someone on that criteria.

When Bruno was on top, there really was no one else to be on top and the entire industry was completely different to the 90s with the backstage politics, scandals and how the fans viewed the industry. Either way, Bruno deserves it. I'm not disputing that, but I'd hold Owen's induction in much higher regard.
