I think he should stay. He's a bit like SAF in the sense that hes had to deconstruct and rebuild teams because hes been there so long - the problem is that he got unlucky with his last reconstruction. The players all hit form at different times (Fabregas, Nasri, Clichy, RVP) and when they hit form they wanted to leave because no one else was at their level or the others were injured. Now he's having to reconstruct again, but the difference is the last project didn't come to fruition, so its felt like 7 years of reconstruction.
As well as that, who would they get in that's better? None of the top top managers would go there (even fewer are actually available), and anyone below that probably isn't better than Wenger. He's not done great but I don't think he should get the sack.

From a neutral standpoint, he has to go. For the past 10 years he's been on the brink of having a great side, but has had to sell and his replacements just haven't been good enough. Gervinho, Squillachi, his goalkeepers, and a few more have all let him down and they need a change.

Certainly deserves to get sacked. Not entirely sure the board would though and he definitely won't resign. Saying that though he seemed riled up during his press conference yesterday, something that I've never seen from him before.
Klopp to Arsenal and then Moyes to Dortmund is my wildcard prediction should Wenger leave.

No way in hell Klopp goes to Arsenal, but Moyes to Dortmund is far less likely ;[

The thing I think all Arsenal fans have a problem with is the way they sell their top players, then either don't replace them, or replace them with players who only have a fraction of the quality, and come at a fraction of the price. Like in the summer, when they sold Van Persie to United, he replaced him with Giroud, who cost £12 million less and is not even close to being as good, and won't exactly get any better. Whereas if he had gone in for someone like Stevan Jovetic, he is obvisouly not as good as Van Persie at the moment, but he will be. Sure, he would have cost about what they got for Van Persie, but he would have been a fariyl adequte replacement.
I think if Arsenal don't get in the top four this season, he will get the sack.

But why on earth would one of the best sides in Europe, who could get almost any available manager they want in the world, go for the Everton manager who has never won a trophy?

And that won't be for another 10+ years if SAF's health stays.

I think it's time for him to go. Not long ago I would've said he needs to stay, but as much as he's done for Arsenal, you can't keep a manager just for what they've done in the past. Lately, his 'big money' signings haven't lived up to expectations, especially Gervinho (Glad we dodged the bullet missing out on buying him). If he goes, I could see Mourinho taking over. He wants to manage in England next season and he already has a house in London, just makes sense. Whether Arsenal would want to pay his wages is another matter.
